How come nobody has him yet? I'm dying to see his likeness. He doesn't seem to be in stock anywhere.

I saw him at... a toy dealer's table at the Slayercon on Saturday. (I think the dealer was Time & Space Toys.) They had the 50s Angel, one opened up and on "display" for people to play around with. And a second one on the card... I almost bought him, kind of wishing that I had. But I got the SH Spike (and Bad Girls Faith) instead. Later in the day when I went back to the table, 50s Angel was gone. The guy did say they only had the one, something about having just gotten them in and this one was their sample piece or something?

Did the likeness is good? I never saw him close, i just saw the official pictures, he looks great on likeness, but i don't know, pics are very tricky.

If you put the short black coat on 50's Angel, he makes a pretty acurate "Prophecy Girl" Angel.

I saw it this weekend at the Pittsburgh Toy Show since Time and Space is a big dealer there. The likeness was good but I'm not that big on the deluxe line, so I'm waiting to just get School Hard Spike and the two Destiny figures. Time and Space had alot of great deals though on one of their tables:
$40 for Summers Family Album $5 Pylean Demon Angel or Vampire Spike $10 50's Angel

Hmmm... he was $15 at the Slayercon. Maybe their overhead was higher at the Slayercon. Or, maybe it's because he was their only one at the time I thought he looked great. The paint looked pretty clean, everything looked alright... I am kinda kicking myself for not getting it then. It's not as though I did not have the money. Ah well.

He's just hit the shelves at Forbidden Planet in Edinburgh with the rest of the series.

If you need images, IdoDoodle has posted them on the 5th page of the official thread He looks good to me, but a little cartoony. Although word has it, his hair is really cool hehe.

Like everyone's said he does look a bit cartoony, but I really like him. The only thing a little weird, and this could just be mine, his spare arms are a slightly different color. Not a real problem for me though 'cause I plan on displaying him in the jacket.

My 50's Angel came today from BCC. It is the first one I have gotten so far. The others should be here by next week. I must say, it looks like they stepped it up a little with series 2. First thing I noticed is that the package hangs straight on the wall. The series one's cock to the side when hanging. They also got rid of those ugly exposed peg holes on the shoulder and hip joints. If only they would have did that on series 1. I can't wait to get the others.

I agree that it does seem that they are improving with the series. Willow/Kennedy/Kendra Deluxe figures look stunning. I really like this figure, his hair is the way that it was brushed in the episode, he looks a little cartoony but still a very good figure.
