It looks like 'School Hard' Spike is an exclusive for AFX at this years San Diego Comic Con. From AFX- Our next Buffy exclusive debuts at the 2006 San Diego Comic-Con (July 20-23) but you can get it free when you purchase the new Spike and Angel Deluxe Figure assortment! www.shopafx.com/buvaslanands.htmlWho knew? I thought he would be a regular not a con. I wonder why

It says "Debut", maybe they just mean that you can get him there first before he's released in stores/online

Oh, They will sell them at their online store. They always do. Just take a look at any of the SDCC exclusives, so its a con/store exclusive. But I don't think it will be released in other stores because its an AFX exclusive, well unless those stores buys a case from them. But I guess your right, I totally passed over the "debuts" part

School Hard Spike is not a SDCC exclusive con figure only. It is an AFX exclusive and will be available everywhere that AFX exclusives are sold.

It's just like the Bad Girls DLX Faith. AFX will be selling it first at SDCC and then at their on-line store and it will start showing up at other stores.

Ok, ok, I understand. I admitted I was wrong and I misread what was there. Theres no need to get all bent out of shape.

No, no, you were right. It is an exclusive for SDCC and what ever is left over is usually sold on their website.
Like last year's DST WTTH Vamp Darla. DST said it was only a SDCC exclusive but they never sold out so they put it up on their website to sell. The same for THAW Lorne with Time and Space Toys. But for the Wild at Heart Oz PALz, they sold out at the show when it was suppose to be offered to club members. It always depends on how well selling at the show does.

Or maybe its just me... Sorry about that esc, my comment was directed toward SlayerLover34, but if I was right there is nothing to apologize about Anyway, back to topic. Spike looks great and I can't wait to get him! ;D

Anyway, back to topic. Spike looks great and I can't wait to get him! ;D Agree, I think this is the first time we get the red shirt without the duster.

I just hope that either the DST website or the BCC get a hold of some of these figures as it becomes closer to their release date. I already have all of the Deluxes on preorder with the BCC. This is the only figure that I do not have on preorder.

I am not bent out of shape. Where did you get that from? I read a thread saying School Hard Spike was a SDCC Con exclusive. In the past, when SDCC exclusives have been announced there is always a bunch of posts immediately following that say things like, "I can't go to SDCC! Damn, DST, they screwed us again! How dare them not make it available to everyone!" I simply wanted to point out that it was not an SDCC exclusive only and will be available everywhere AFX exclusives are sold.

I just got a different tone from your message, but forget it! no need to worry, its just water under the bridge now Anyway, back to topic. But I thought that he came with the jacket, and it was removable?

School Hard Spike is actually available for pre-order now at AFX. It's free when you order a set of 4 deluxe figures.

The jacket is removable? That would be so cool if that's true. I'm going to be hoping and wishing.

The jacket is removable? That would be so cool if that's true. I'm going to be hoping and wishing. Not only is it removable, it is interchangeable with the other Deluxe Angel/Spikes minus the Hawaiian ones. You can make a OMWF Vamp Spike in red duster, non vamp Spike in long coat, 50's Angel in long coat or any combo that you can think of.

DST is doing such an awesome job with this second wave, especially since the accessories are a huge improvement from the last time!

In case anybody didn't know, the jackets and arms of ALL of the Deluxe Buffy & Faith figures are interchangeable as well. My favorite is EOD Buffy in a black jacket instead of blue. It looks so much better IMO. My neice thinks that EOD Buffy with BG Faith's vest & tatooed arm looks kinda like Cleveland Slayer Buffy. OMWF Buffy looks good in either the black or blue jackets or even the vest.

I am looking forward to School Hard Spike in order to further my OMWF action figure collection. Its the same outfit he sings his solo in, and then with the duster at the Bronze. Then we'll have Anya, Buffy, Dawn, and Spike. Yay! OMWF for life!
