DST has been doing chase figures for a while...I dont know where you've been. This time, they just arent as good as Hush Tara, NPLPG Lorne and Illyria, etc. I'm not too sure how I feel about the chases. I guess I'll buy them if I see them but if not...it wont be a big deal. chase have been made, but not battle damage like toybiz do, now im hoping battle damage choosen buffy!!

The majority of Toybiz's chase figures are not battle damage...Its a very teeny tiny small percentage...so it makes no sense to say that they are copying off of Toybiz because of it. How dumb.

There are quite a few companys that do battle damaged figures...like mattel, Hasbro, Mcfarlane toys, Mezco, and Palisades for example. And there are many, many more.
And when Toybiz does a battle damaged figure...they usually arent chases. So sorry if I dont think its a fair comparison.

So... Question for the guy who isn't up to date on Chase figures...
Will Spike/Angel have 4 figures each in total? 3 regulars and then 1 chase battle damage? Or will there just be 2 regulars and 1 chase battle damage?

so let me get this straight, we'll get 2 figures in each pack? a normal angel + damaged spike or a normal spike + damaged angel?

I would assume they'll be sold separately.

How did I miss this? Battle damaged figures? I can't wait for Toyfare! I wonder what the exclusives will be. Hoping for Season 2(Buffy) Spike and Angel. I think it would be cool if Spike came with a wheelchair.

Great news.
Nice how DST seem to be teaming the regular figures (eg Graduation Day for big fight between Buffy and Faith and same for Angel and Spike with Destiny).
Also cool news re "battle damaged" variants. Not sure if I will pick them up, but should look pretty cool and would help vary the display a little.
Cannot wait for news of the variants. Hoping for a season 2/OMWF Spike (though it would involve a LOT of re-sculpting with the pants/boots look and the overshirt over undershirt torso. An End of Days Angel would be pretty cool to team with the EOD Buffy and not sure about the others. I guess some vampire variants as well.
Looking forward to Toyfair.
Cheers, Haeph.

I too wonder what the exclusives we"ll be I mean with the chases we will have a total of 4 Spikes and 4 Angels. I am guessing that at least one of each of the variants will be a vampire one. As for the other variant it would be cool if it was an Origins one, but I'd rather have Angel from The Girl In Question with his leather Italian Jacket and Spike from Tabula Rasa with his Randy Giles suit.

The only question here is How can you make Angel with the body of Spike or Spike with the body of Angel?.

The only question here is How can you make Angel with the body of Spike or Spike with the body of Angel?. They did it for Buffy and Faith... I mean, I know Angel is bigger then Spike, but I think for the figures it will look fine.

The only question here is How can you make Angel with the body of Spike or Spike with the body of Angel?. maybe they won't, i mean buffy and faith aren't that different and the fact that it was there first release and they didn't want to loose money angel, riley, xander could have the same but spike need a different one

I think they will probably go for a body thats sort of in between both Angel and Spikes size, whcih might not look that bad. Maybe if we're really lucky though they will give us seperate bodies...

Well I do hope so because Spike's rather on the short side, and so having them both the same height rather grates with me. Saying that though I'm really looking forward to seeing that they do with my two favorite vamps!

I don't see them giving each their own body... for price reasons. Then again, they maybe antispating high sales for Spike... so who knows.

I wonder if we will see the figures at Toy fair or if they will at least announce the rest of the Angel and Spike variants then. I'm dying to see what they look like as well as finding out what the variants are. I'm betting that 1 of each variant is in vampire form.

They'll probably use the same body, which is fine by me. David and James are only two inches apart, so neither of them will look out-of-scale.
