Even though both Buffy and Angel won’t have new episodes coming any time soon, the upcoming Deluxe Angel and Spike figures aren’t slowing down! After a brisk sculpting and approval process, these amazingly articulated vampires are scheduled to make their public debut during February 2006’s American International Toy Fair. Since two months is a long time to wait, we thought fans would appreciate a few more details about everyone’s favorite vampires with souls.
Due to be released in the Summer of 2006, the core assortment of figures will contain super-articulated versions of Angel and Spike from “Destiny.” Fans will surely be pleased with interchangeable arms, removable jackets and awesome accessories taken right from the episode!
The Deluxe Series 2 assortment will also feature a first for DST – each case will contain one battle damaged short pack figure of both Spike and Angel in each case! Images of all the new Deluxe Angel and Spike figures will be released during February 2006’s Toy Fair along with images of the exclusive versions from both Buffy and Angel.www.diamondselecttoys.com/news/default.aspGreat news! It's great that they're also gonna give us battle damaged variants. I'm hoping the exclusive versions of them will be from buffy. End of days angel and spike would be really nice and I would love to get them! And maybe also becoming ones? Can't wait for Toy Fair! ;D

Is Angel wearing a suit jacket or a leather jacket in the regular version? Based on the picture on the website.
What date is Toy Fair?
Hope they are destined for greatness! I like the deluxe line.
And BRILLIANT news on battle damaged variants, I'm gonna have to get them

Wow, sweet! Great episode choice, it really makes sense why they are going together... just like Grad Day Buffy/Faith, it's based on a big fight. I do like hearing about a brisk approval process too. It's really great to hear these guys will have removeable jackets as well. They ought to be the ultimate Angel and Spike figures! I'm glad we'll get an Angel with a suit coat too. February can't come soon enough!

I love the episode choice.
Is there still going to be 4 more figures (2 spikes and 2 angels)?

IM very excted to see what these figures look like! I was given OMWF Buffy, and GradDay+EoD Faith for Christmastime and I fell in love with them. I have always been for super articulated figures (Marvel Legends)... These things look great even with the reg DST figures. ANYWAY knowing that they are officially doin Spike and Angel is just great so then my Scooby front line will look awesome! Cant wait!!

I loved this episode and I am glad that they decided to do chases of them as battle damaged figures. I'm just hoping that I have a chance to get the chases as well as the regular. This is so cool that we will actually get 4 of each character because of the chases. I can't wait to see pics of the new figures.

Yay! DST has joined the evil of all its big brothers and sisters in the toy biz. Pun intended. I hope these figures are of much better quality than the previous Deluxes. I might get the Spikes if they're done properly. I just hope his hands can actually hold accessories this time. Third time is the charm, they say...

DST has been doing chase figures for a while...I dont know where you've been. This time, they just arent as good as Hush Tara, NPLPG Lorne and Illyria, etc.
I'm not too sure how I feel about the chases. I guess I'll buy them if I see them but if not...it wont be a big deal.
