I want more DLX Buffys and I think this line would be ideal to include a slayer set...A new Buffy, Kendra, and the First Slayer! ;D

I agree with you that Xander/Willow/Tara would'nt make good superposeable figures at all. I'm not sure who they would really make. I mean we have Deluxe Buffy, Deluxe Faith and next year we"ll have Deluxe Angel and Deluxe Spike.
As far as the next figures, I'd really like to see someone like Cordelia, but she would have to be a part of a Deluxe Angel figure set, which as far as I know they are only going to make Deluxe figures from the Buffy series. I'd love a Kendra figure, but I'm very doubtful of them ever making a figure of her.

I wouldnt mind getting Will, Cordy, Xander whoever in the deluxe. I am not sure yet (untill I get them) how much I love the deluxe but so far I think I will love them so I wouldnt mind have the core gang(s) in super poseability. Just because they didnt fight doesnt mean they would be fun to play with & pose. but thats just me if I like something I am happy no matter what character is made.

A few people have been saying that DST could have made loads more and better buffys but I think they didnt for a reason.
I think they saved the main buffy figures such as chosen and the gift buffy for the main buffy line. That way, we have loads of buffys deluxes and normal, GD buffy, EOD, omwf and the other five or more variants they choose for the main line when they decide to make buffy.

Although I like these I would prefer the core four and then that's it. Theose are the only 4 who really had lots of fights and actions all the other Scoobies and Fang Gangs got involved it was never anything as major as these guys. Plus I would prefer to see DST concentrate on other new things such as Statues or Bookends.

I don't see why everyone is so intent on making sure that the only deluxe figures that get made are the fighters.
Since DST says that characters recently made in the regular line won't get more figures anytime soon, this is just another place to get more of the characters that somebody might love. I know people probably think I'm just blowing steam, but I think -every- character could benefit from being super poseable.
When the characters in the regular line are in neutral stances, people seem to complain. But when they're sculpted into a bit of a pose, then it seems like people just don't like that pose either and want a different one.
For all of those characters to be made deluxe, then everyone would be able to pose them any way they wish. I don't see why it should be solely limited to fighters; everybody could benefit from being put into a new pose every now and then.

I think a Deluxe Anya from Chosen would be neat...so would Deluxe Angels and Spikes, so would a Deluxe Illyria....so would a Deluxe Lindsey and Cordy from Your Welcome....hell, I would take more Buffys too. Deluxe Dark Willow anyone? How's about Deluxe Riley, or Buffy from Primeval....how about Deluxe Gunn(s)? He was a good "fighter" guy on the show.

I'd like every character to be made in deluxe, at least from the Angel-verse.
Still would like to see most of the Buffy gang made into super-poseable as well.
But can see DST's point. They don't want to create two different lines, they just want to allow people to supplement their existing lines with a few deluxe figures. But as they've said many times, it all depends on sales.
If the deluxe Buffy and Faith do great, then we'll get deluxe Angel and Spike (hopefully sooner rather than later). And if they do well (which may be doubtful considering Spike and Angel will both have had regular releases by that time), then not sure what DST would do? Make more of the existing deluxe characters or branch out a bit. Maybe a deluxe Gunn and Illyria for Angel. And a deluxe Xander and Riley or Willow for Buffy?
They could pretty easily do a deluxe Dark Witch Willow just using a new torso sculpt, but same legs and OMWF Buffy's arms and the existing DWW head (if scale isn't a problem, which it shouldn't be).
Using the same female body, they could also look at doing a Darla and Drusilla in deluxe fairly easily. The outfits from . . . . the episode where they ate Holland Manners (?) would work well and were pretty standard from memory?
Same for the guys. They could probably get a Xander, Wesley and Gunn out of the body sculpts they do for Angel and Spike. Maybe even a Riley and Giles. All they really need to do is supplement new heads and a new torso or arms here or there.
I guess in the end, if it looks to be profitable for DST they will do it. So wait and see how well Buffy and Faith do. Its dissapointing that Faith is so "off". Hopefully it won't effect sales too dramatically.
Cheers, Haeph.

I'd LOVE a Deluxe Giles, lol. He got his chance to kick some demon booty! They should also do a Wesley figure (obiously from Angel) and it can be the 2 watchers.
Then we'll have 2 slayers, 2 vampires and 2 watchers...
But if sales are low I think Angel & Spike will be the last deluxe release.

Oz in full werewolf with Veruca and Nina variants, and the other side of the library with the cage.

For me I would prefer figthers, because I don't display my collection, so fighters make more sense for me. I would also like:
Selfless Anyanka Connor Gunn LOADS of baddies (I think this could appeal to a much wider audience than Buffy/Angel fans) e.g Ubervamp, Judge, Master, Fyral Giles. Initiative soldiers: Masked, Riley, Forrest and Gram with just headswaps and paint differences More Slayers: 1st Slayer, Kendra, Kennedy do the same as they did with the Buffy/Faith line and share lots of parts.
But new characters or variants, and not redo's!!! (especially not of ones that DST have released).

Oz in full werewolf with Veruca and Nina variants, and the other side of the library with the cage. The other side of the library is a no-go, it would be nice but DST have said it isn't possible. IF they change their minds it would probably be released as an extension, rather than it be included with the figures. Also Veruca & Nina are highly unlikely, since DST want to go for characters that will sell well.

Oooh.... I say Deluxe Connor. That boy was BENDY. (Excuse me while I got into fits of Connor lust). With figures from "A New World" (Destroyer Connor), "Home" and "Origin".
I'd also say Gunn. Any of the real fighty characters.
Of course, I will say Connor for just about ANY figure type. I really want one... That I didn't make myself.

Damn that is actually a fine idea for a non-articulated figure. Same concept as Bunny Anya, just add a fabric eskimo outfit wrapped tight around Transformation Willow body (with regular eyes), and add a spear.
