Despite the fact that they are making Spike and Angel next ( I think)... Who else would you want to be made into the deluxe range?

I was thinking about that, too...I'd hope they'd do an "Angel" set next with Gunn and someone else...but who, though? Cordelia? I'd love to see a Gwen Raiden deluxe, but I'm not holding my breath...maybe Illyria? RK

Gunn and Gwen would be a good set, but I seriously doubt they would make a Gwen. Too bad, I thought she was really cool. Maybe Connor and Gunn?

I would really like an Illyria deluxe and some kind of baddy, probaly Ubervamp as buffyfanone suggested. After that I would love a Deluxe Dark Willow and maybe a White Willow so she can be sat in her pose from 'Chosen'.

I'm not sure there's going to be another line after Spike and Angel.
I'm not even sure there's going to be a deluxe Spike and Angel.
They were meant to be out this year. Now DST have pushed them back to 2006.
I can kinda understand the delay in the Buffy and faith deluxe figures (though not really given we saw pics of the Buffy figure ages ago and nothing has really changed apart from the jackets to warrant a delay, its not like the sculpts have been majorly improved or anything).
BUT they must have James and David's sign off for the facial sculpts at least and given they'll probably share the same body like Buffy and Faith do, not sure why the delay.
Nevertheless, IF there is a third deluxe line, I would love to see: - Dark Witch Willow (pretty unlikely as already a figure) - Illyria (pretty unlikely as soon to be a figure) - Ubervamp - The Beast - Adam
Basically baddies I guess. Would REALLY love to see a whole bunch of characters like Wesley, Gunn, Cordelia, Connor etc get the deluxe treatment, but don't see it happening anytime soon.
Cheers, Haeph.

Cordelia in a deluxe version, you kidding? right. I think a Deluxe 'Your Welcome' Cordelia would rock! I want Illyria, Your Welcome Cordy, Glory, Adam, Caleb and maybe a Dark Witch Willow. Personally, I dont think the Deluxe line has much of a future past the core four.

I think after the angel/spike deleux figs I think it would be nice to go over some of the already done figs, as a few of my favourite varients were left out
Willow from tough love (maybe with a levitation stand)
selfless anya and selfless anyanka varient

Nope, not kidding.
I'd like ALL of the Buffy figures to be deluxe, even "non-fighters" like Anya, Willow, Lilah etc.
Cheers, Haeph.

I hope... Can they just make these delux figures into normal ones too? I mean, I like their outfits and looks and stuff... But no the bodies.
If they have to make more, I think they should do maybe Illyria, Kendra... Very fightish people.

Illyria- She would really only need swords since mostly just used her fists to get by enemies. Glory- Maybe in a skirt made of some soft material or possibly looking like she did in "the Gift" or "Blood Ties", that'd be awesome. Skip- Doesn't anyone else think this would just look cool? The Beast Cordelia- Obviously dressed as she was in "Your Welcome" OR maybe that outfit she had in "Billy", I really liked the outfit she wore when she was preparing to fight Billy. I wouldn't worry, Haeph, DST is just trying to ensure that Faith and Buffy do well first so they can decide whether or not it's worth it to continue on with the line. They've said various times that the sales for Buffy and Faith will determine the future of Deluxe Figures so it's wise of them not to make any promises, this is a big decision. Personally, I think Deluxe figures will sell wonderfully because the have a very accessible "action figurey" look to them that appeals to a wider range of people like you know...the ones who can bring themselves to remove the figure from the packaging? I'm sure DST already has designs for Spike and Angel and are just waiting for Buffy and Faith to fly first.

I think they should definitely stick to the ACTION characters. No super posable Tara for the love of god!
even Xander/Willow would be kind of lame......
maybe a werewolf Oz
Their are still SO MANY MORE Buffys they could have done........

Some characters can't be deluxe, coz they aren't a fighters, like Willow, Xander or Cordelia, sure Cordelia fights in you are welcome, but she didn't do a lot, also in Billy she just carry a crossbow, that isn't so much in the action area.

If this line does well, maybe DST could do an "Initiative" themed series with Comando style Riley, Forest, Grahm, Spike or masked. Use the same body but include different accesories.

Just curious...
I'm not sure if I missed it or something, but who says that the deluxe line has to be solely devoted to characters who are known for fighting? I mean, yeah, it's starting out with two very fighty characters and all, but...
Well, if you ask me, every character could benefit from being super poseable.
Who wouldn't like an entire AI or Scooby Gang to position and display any way they desire? I would.
Once the 'Core Four' get made, I don't think the line should still only be limited to them. I'd at least like to see a lot of the main characters get this treatment, even if someone like Tara doesn't necessarily make the cut.

I mean, yeah, it's starting out with two very fighty characters and all, but... I'm not sure if DST every specifically stated that about the deluxe line, but the thinking comes from what they have said about the standard lines. And that is that articulation is designed based on the character and is specific to that one. There is no DST standard articulation, it's a case by case thing... and that's pretty smart. I think we all assume that the same thinking applies here.
