I know that the Deluxe figs don't come with stands, but does anyone know if they will have holes in the botton of their feet if we wanted to put them on the pegs on the regular figures' stands?

I hope they do but I doubt it as the Spike's and Darla's didn't come with them and there in the regular line but still maybe, no one really knows until there in our hands.

Darla did get foot holes I think, but no, I don't think any of the new figures will have foot holes, as DST always make a point of the fact that: "They can stand on their own" I think they're missing the point of a display base myself....

There are no bases!!!!!! Can't they at least give them a mini white witch will esque base? I know they can stand on their own but its nice for display purposes.

I saw a picture of them standing straight up in a Buffy magazine and they looked really wierd......posing them is the only way to make them look good. lol. I'm sure you could just PLACE them on the other bases without putting their foot on the peg.

I know they can stand on their own but its nice for display purposes. I really want bases too! But I think when you said 'Display Purposes' I realised why we're not getting them - The figures are meant to be position, posed and played with (Unlike the other line).

It would still be nice to have something to stand them on, some of them could of had killer bases. Although what DST are giving us is great so thanks for that!

Can't they at least give them a mini white witch will esque base? That's the base (Pre-production WWW) I was thinking of putting my EOD buffy on, if possible. I'm sure I'll figure something out.

The lack of bases was a trade-off to keep costs down. These will retail for the same price as the standard figures, even though the articulation adds a lot to production costs.

Yeah but the Marvel legends have just as much articulation and also come with a base and there cheaper.

Mass market vs. specialty market. If Buffy sold anywhere near the amount Legends does, they could be cheaper too. They don't though. They're also not carried in department stores where toy prices have nearly no profit margin... places like Wal-Mart charge near wholesale prices (apparently) as toys are considered an item that lures you/parents into the store and hopefully leads to purchasing other more profitable things.
