I'm having a really hard time getting these figures to stand. Are there any tricks? I've got the little white putty stuff that should help...but even then they topple over. Ive had these for ages but never really displayed them much. They stand for a while but I go to sleep and by the time I wake up, at least one has fallen over...and usually takes a few down with her.
So...any tips?

I have my gd buff and faith against eachother on a balcony from spiderman =] My other delux figures are leaning against something but it is un-noticable usually.

I too have had problems on getting them to stand. So I take them and pose them in every way possible each time doing a bump test to see if they will fall if there are any disturbances around them. After doing this they usually stand up for a good amount of time.

Like Chosen Prophecy said, you could lean them adainst something. Or if you have a dremel, you might be able to use a smaller bit and drill a hole so she can stand on someone elses base. -John

actually i just displayed my gd buffy and spread her legs alot and then she stands even better then the ones with bases and faith is hanging over spikes cross base, i can never really display spike on them an thought that it would be perfect for deluxe figures.

I display my Deluxe Buffy and Faith's on my Matrix Neo Chateau playset. Faith is at the top of the stairs holding onto the railing, while Buffy sits in Morpheus' chair at the bottom. The other figs sit nicely on the stairs and I think they look great.

I don't have any problems.
Usually I position the feet flat onto the surface, then hold the feet with one hand and manoeuvre the upper body (primarily using the hip joints to move the upper body forward or back) to find an appropriate "balance".
I also generally go with a wider stance (appropriate for when they're fighting) and sometimes just put their feet into "classic" karate stances in order to encourage balance (eg back leg straight and front leg bent over the knee).
I also sometimes use accessories to help with the weight distribution.
If you have a particularly weak joint, such as the ankle joint, some people put a small "glob" of superglue on the joint and keep working the joint until the glue has tried (like 5 minutes or so). The glue adds an extra layer of thickness to the joint, making it stronger and sturdier, but because you've kept moving it while the glue dried, you can still freely move the joint.
Cheers, Haeph.

You can use clips for clothes as a way to stand them out, they are very easy to attach in the legs of the figures and it really works well, i used that a lot with the sota street fighter figures because even with the full articulation the figures can't stand well. www.officegiant.co.uk/products/KF02034.jpg
