Guardians of Eternity? From End of Days? The Old Lady and the Scythe? Cheers, Haeph. Aha! I thought it was probably the group she was from, but I couldn't find a name anywhere online or in my books... and haven't yet had a chance to re-watch that episode. Thanks man!

Not a problem.
I just googed "watchers of the watchers" and "buffy" and voila.
Google can be so good to you sometimes.
Now, just to rewatch the episode to be certain . . . . .
Cheers, Haeph.

is it just me, or do unpainted figures just make it that much more obvious that they are all the same with different paint jobs? That's the first thing I thought of when I saw them.

Omigosh!!! I just now found this - I would LOVE to have won some unpainted Deluxe Buffy and Faiths! Considering it's wayyy past June 30th, does anyone know if they can be purchased? This would be the most awesome "variant" DST could produce - just look at the number of customizers on this siite - unpainted versions, for the intended purpose of customizing, would be an incredible offer and one heck of a salute to the people who customize DST already awesome figures.
I wonder if DST has ever considered this type of option? Hopefully the figures wouldn't be "shiny smooth", but rather "matte smooth" (if that makes sense - sorry, I'm trying to express this with a total ignorance of any manufacturing processes or techniques and the results they produce) as matte would hopefully take the paint better. It would be an awesome way for DST to sell some extra inventory, and it could save DST and the fans who buy them some $$$ (since no factory painting or packaging would have to be done, and these savings could be passed on to members).
Heck, this could even be an offshoot or spinoff of the customizing contests - in that DST could offer the "blank" figures to buy for customizers and then the best job or top 3, 5 etc wins like free figures or something.
So anyway, can anyone with connections at DST ask if there's anyway we can buy some unpainted figures (I personally would be willing to buy just about anything - including any returned "damaged" figures, or even partial figures (or parts), but especially complete figures with no paint would be awesome (of ANY figures, not just deluxes - and I mean ones intended for customizing fans, they don't have to be (and shouldn't be) the pre-production versions intended for collectors.
So, anyone who we could talk to about this? I'm sure there are other customizers who would be into this too - and a great way for DST to get rid of...well, heck, probably ANYTHING they currently think is junk!
If this is possible but for whatever reason can't be "officially" announced, a private message or even an email would suffice as well! :-)
Thanks - and as unique as the collector base is for Buffy and Angel, why not be daring and try this out? It could be the start of a whole new business plan and a new option for all of us creative types who LOVE to make custom figures (while anxiously hoping DST will make them for real someday!). :-)
