Alot of people have been talking about the legs. (has opened his yet). I can't open mine yet, but I think they are just loose because of they way they are made.
Are you able to get them back on?

Yeah, the leg articulation is something they definately have to work on. I've heard that they've either broken or are pretty loose.
Just email DST...they're very open in listening to your figure problems, and would probably send you a replacement.

.S.E that sucks, now i don't know if i gonna get one of these, i was interesting in end of days B, but now i'm very doubtful coz the shipping for me is too high coz i live very far from usa and if the figure is broken that will be a disaster.

Oh god..I just called the comic book shop where I got the deluxe figures at, and they said that their policy is that you have to get them from the company that makes them...Damnit...

im scared i wanted to buy EOD buffy and bad girls faith but now im scared to waste my money Well I've heard nothing bad about either of those two figures. They're meant to be the best quality in the set. I'm sure it'll be fine If you order them - I did anyway.

I think it's a little early to start calling the Grad Day figures a disaster.
First, let's look at the broken legs. At this point I have found only three prople complaining about broken limbs. ThisYearsGuy, Straight Edge and myself. In ThisYearsGuys' case he was able to exchange the figure, and posted that he is happy with the replacement. In my case, the broken leg was entirely my fault! I was bending and pulling on that thing like there was no tomorrow. It broke because I broke it! That leaves Straight Edges two broken figures. That is extremely bad luck, but with a track record of only three damaged figures versus the other reviews that are coming in telling how much people love their figures I think it is far too soon to be suggesting or thinking the entire wave of figures is defective.
Now getting to the question of loose joints, yes, I think there is a problem here, but I don't think it is exclusive to the Grad Day line. My OMWF Buffy has some loose limbs as well. In fact the only figure that can stand on one foot for an extreme pose is my EOD Faith, but ALL my Deluxe figures can stand on thier own.
So, if people are worried that if they buy a Deluxe figure it might have loose joints, then I say, yes, your figure might have loose joints. But, do I think there is a bunch of Deluxe figures out there with broken limbs? With the evidence we have so far. No!
If people are still concerned about these figures, wait until the next wave of figures arrive on July 13th. People who have them on order will post their reviews, and everyone will have a better idea of what the quality of these figures really are.

Karen I agree!, just becasue I had bad luck doesnt mean you shouldnt buy the figures...I dont know why my set was broke, but my EOD Faith is PERFECT!..I love her..But still just becasue i had bad luck doesnt mean that you guys shouldnt buy em thay are really cool!

Ugh...this is irritating. Reminds me of the early MAC figures. I really hoep I dont have problems with any of my deluxe figures.
The fact that 3 people have had problems with breakage already and that many others are complaining of how loose the joints are should worry us all. VERY few peolpe have the figures so far and for such a high percentage to be problematic...is NOT a good sign.
I'm glad DST is eager to replace the figures....and some of them seem to be ok. Thats a good sign. But I hope the deluxe line ends with Buffy and Faith if they cant get them done right.

It really does seem to be down to luck. The only thing I can recommend is asking if you could open it at the counter and see if it's broken already. That way at least the store sees that the merchandise is faulty. With marvel legends I used to find the initial batch were the ones with problems, hopefully later batches will be better. I haven't heard of any problems with the other figures, and they seem to be turning up after the grad day set here at least. Maybe made in a different batch?

If you agree, maybe you should change the topic title to something more reasonable and less alarmist in tone. I think you might have over-reacted a bit. I mean you seem to be complaining about DST not responding to you on a Sunday for one thing, to say nothing of the broad generalization the title implies for what is your rather unique situation.

As I posted in the other thread, as with any DST product, if you receive damaged or defective merchandise, please first try returning it to the store at which it was purchased. If that is not an option or they will not exchange it, email customerservice@diamondselecttoys.com and we will get you a replacement.
I had already emailed StraightEdge about his problem, but I don't check my PM's on the forum every day and hadn't seen his initial requests.
So far we don't know if this is a common problem or not. It could be as others have already suggested, a problem with the very first batch of figures off the line. Just let us know if you have any problems.

Well, I just picked up the Graduation Day set since I have the rest of the figures on order through BCC, and already I have run into a problem. Faiths Bow has all 3 strings loose. Looks like they were all pulled out of their sockets. Unfortunatley, the store I purchased them from only received mine in, and will not be receiving anymore since I am the only person who buys Buffy stuff from him. I'll see if any customers can spare an extra, otherwise Ill shoot you an email Justic

Hey straightEdge, will you please modify your post to say, "MY Graduation Day set is a disaster"? Your post implies that ALL the Graduation Day sets are a disaster and that is just not the truth!
