What do you folks do you with joints as far as painting goes? I paint them, let em set. and then everytime my guys move (everytime I move them) the paint gets jacked up. I was hoping to sell these after I finished them, but I'd hate for someone to rotate an arm, or bend a knee and have their custom figure look lousy. Is it just really thin coats of paint? Or detailed caveats to the buyer? Any help would be appreciated.

I read an excellent guide and there were two ways listed. 1) sand down the joints so when you paint them they aren't two thick and get ruined. 2) Put superglue over the paint where the joints get moved. Just dab them and when you bend the arm, the paint should stay. Let me try and fink the link I read.

Also, it always helps just to paint a lot of thin coats and move the joint right after painting it. There are a lot of benefits to using many thin coats instead of one thick one .
