Does anyone know what type of paint to use to make a silk like appearance? and does anyone have avice on how to make pants look like jeans? Thanks

? you could use the acylic paint - then give it a wash (with silver and plenty of water)

for the silk effect I use a very watery wash of ivory for jeans effect I first paint a medium blue base colour then add different shades of darker and lighter blue with the dry brush method

Lightly dip your brush to pick up a small amount of paint, wipe excess on a tissue and then brush on a scrap piece of paper until there is very little paint left on the brush (hence the name ‘drybrush’).
Dry brushing will pick up the raised details and is normally done with a lighter color, but not always.
