OK, I have to get in on the question asking (BTW, the hot seat may be my new favorite feature of the board).
Which former "Buffy" star do you most like in his/her new role this season and why? Also, which one do you dislike the most and why?

Hehe^^ This shall be fun! - As an angel, what is it like having wings? I'm no angel  , but I sure wish I could fly. - If you could save ANYONE on BtVS or Angel, who would it be? Fred. They didn't just kill her, they destroyed her soul. How messed up is that? I even asked Alexis Denisof about that in a Q&A at a Vulkon. I asked him if he thought it was possible for a soul to be destroyed. He said he didn't have time to discuss the theological ramifications of that, but it was too tragic and they did it to make Fred's death feel more final than the average Buffy death. - Willow/Tara or The Charmed Ones? The Charmed Ones all the way. They dress way better, plus have such cool active powers, not just the ability to cast spells. I've wished magic were real ever since I was a little girl coveting Samantha Stevens' ability to do housework with the twitch of her nose. I'm essentially pretty lazy. - If you could pick any female character (any show) to trade places with, who'd you choose? Joan of Arcadia. I didn't really watch the show, but I'd love to have the ability to have one-on-ones with God. If God really exists (which I believe he/she does), then I want some answers, dammit. - If you could pick any female character (Buffy/Angel) to trade places with, who'd you choose? That's a hard question. In the Buffyverse, no one gets off with an easy life. Buffy has such a major burden, plus all that pain and fighting. I love her, but I couldn't handle being her. If I had to pick someone, it'd probably be Willow, because she has so much power and a really good heart. But I wouldn't want to have to switch teams. I like 'em de boys. - If DST sent you a crate of Darla gates, how'd you thank them? *blushes* I can't talk about that kind of thing on a PG rated board, you silly boy! But they'd be happy! - What Buffy character won over your heart first? Probably Buffy or Xander. Willow grew on me over time. I didn't love Giles at first, but he won my heart after awhile. - Which character on Buffy did you dislike at first, then grew to love? Giles. He seemed stuffy at first, but his sincerity and boyishness gradually emerged. Then when I met ASH at con, I developed a mad crush. That man is sexy, though Giles still isn't to me. - Which Digital-Member do you lurv? (^_^) Everyone keeps asking me who I like best on the board! But you said which Digital member, right? There's only one real Digi, right? I lurv the digi who was so sweet to send me a free, unexpected Darla fence for Christmas. Thank you, kind Digi! |

Is there one specific Buffy character that everyone loves and praises and you think 'Whats so special about _____' I suppose they could be from Angel too. No one jumps to mind. But I was surprised at how many people seem to love Joyce. I hadn't known that anyone did. She seriously bugs me. |

I love Bones so much. He expresses so much more emotion and has a much more varied affect on that show. I love that we get to see DB's silly, joking side. I like Booth more than I liked the character of Angel. I've tried to get into How I Met Your Mother, but I think that AH is the only bright spot on that show. I think she should have a show of her own. She could definitely carry a starring role. |

Chocolate milk shakes Now for some forum-based questions... What do you feel is the best feature of BtVSFigs? Oh gosh, everything! But I think the Ask Diamond feature is really special. It's our own connection to the powers that be in the Buffy action figure universe. What do you feel is the worst feature of BtVSFigs? Well, I hope you don't get mad, but I was sad that the drinking thread was deleted. One person's off-color comments notwithstanding, I thought it was a very intelligent discussion. I think it's good for people to have conversations like that. How often do you visit the forum? I log in for the 6 hour option, then visit throughout the day, since I'm on the computer for work. Who is your favorite band or singer? Buffy w/ Spike, Buffy w/ Angel, or Buffy w/ Riley? Sting is my favorite singer, song writer, musician. I will get into that when I wake up refreshed enough to get into captainperoxideluv's deeply personal questions. It doesn't get more personal than Sting for me. On the Buffy shipping: I go for Spuffy and Cordangel. While I appreciate the intense longing agony of Buffy/Angel, I think those two were really bad for each other. I didn't like Spike and Buffy in season 6, but I think once he got his soul and got over the dumb trigger plot, his directness helped to get past her self-isoloation. I think that both Buffy and Angel isolate with their big burdens. Both are people of action and not good at communication, so they caused each other too much unnecessary pain. As Buffy said to Angel in Chosen: "What was the highlight of our relationship? When you broke up with me, or when I killed you?" I think that Spike was very appreciative of Buffy. She inspired his transformation, and ultimately he became a man who could appreciate how amazing she was and express it to her, while cutting past her walls. The same is true for Cordy with Angel. He inspired her to be a better person. She cut past his broodiness, supporting his mission and reaching him within his self-imposed walls. So Spuffy and Cordangel all the way for me! |

What are the websites that you visit every day? I visit different ones, depending on what I'm doing. I only go to a couple of other message boards. One is much more personal. I try to help other women who are going through what I have been through in the past. I used to spend a lot more time on that site. Now I go there when I feel I have the energy to give to that kind of intensity. It depends on how my day is. The BTVS board is my fun, escape board. Recently I've been to screen caps sites a lot, searching for pics to help with customs. I used to post on the WB feedback board a lot, but since they changed their format, my posts don't go through. I don't know if it's cuz I'm on a Mac, or what. |
