I don't think there's a thread that says this yet, but the Buffy books are ending in January. Uh huh. According to Nancy Holder and Jeff Mariotte.
If you want a really good book of Nancy Holder's, go buy Pretty Little Devils. I thought it would be too girly, but I swear that is one good book. It was the first book of hers I read outside of the Buffyverse.

All I can say is about time. I've never been a fan of books based off TV shows... Alot of times they are just over hyped Fan Fiction... 'Queen of the Slayers' for example... All the Buffy and Charmed books I've read have been really poor quality, and I am glad the Buffy ones are ending - since we have the comics now. I mean there are some good stories, I did enjoy that one with the four slayers... But most are sad...

I think you really need to check out The Lost Slayer or Portal Through Time. They are my personal favorites, and you may like them too. The Book of Fours is sitting on my bookshelf, unread.

The few I've read were pretty much the same, I guess I'll give one of those a chance. The Book of Fours, I dunno why, but I enjoyed it. I actually through out "Queen of the Slayers"... I just don't understand why Joss... or 20th Century Fox would let a book like that be published... It just hurts the franchises standards.

Um... I rather you not. Sorry.
Maybe you should ask people through prive messages, this is kind of spamish.

I thought that QUEEN, although was sort of similar to something that could have happened with a Season Eight, just wasn't as attached to the show as others. Another book based after season 7 is coming out in August I believe. It's called DARK CONGRESSS. by Christopher Golden.

I know what you mean digilee but there are some really good ones out there. BUt i have to disagree with you smglover sorry...I thought portal through time was horrendous..and a perfect example of how some of these books seem like fan fiction...first off it was horrendously written...I could have easily done a better job and tbh I have in the past with my buffy fan fics. But I do agree with lost slayer...that was a good read!! Gatekeeper trilogy was fun too.

I liked the Gatekeepr Trilogy as well. I just can't except that PTT was anything like a fanfiction. So many days went into researching for that book. No fanfiction writer would take the time.

This is sad news. I love the Buffy books! They're the only books I read. My first read was "Sweet Sixteen", then "Crossings", "Coyote Moon", "The Night Of The Living Rerun", "Queen Of The Slayers" and now I'm currently reading "Go Ask Malice". As sad as this news is, I still have loads of Buffy books still to read, and if I finish them, there are plenty of other Buffy books out there that I can buy and read. Sorry to hear that they're ending in January though.
