I'd been meaning to post this for awhile, but just hadn't gotten the time. When I was at Wizard World Chicago, I picked up a couple of original pieces by "Angel" comic artists. The first is Spike & Drusilla by "Spike vs Dracula" artist Joe Corroney. The second is Wesley by "Angel Spotlight: Wesley" artist Mike Norton. Also, I spent quite a bit of time talking to Joe Corroney and he said he'd talked to IDW about doing more Spike/Angel related stuff, which I hope happens, because I really liked his work on "SvD"

Great stuff! Did they do those while you were there or did you pick them from a bunch of available stuff?

They did them specifically for me during the convention. Joe took all weekend on Spike&Dru and I was so pleased with the final product, especially because Juliet Landau can be a hard likeness to capture properly.

That is soo cool! If they did them for you, are they one of a kind or are they drawings based on drawings they did for the comics?

They are essentially one of a kind but with reference. The picture of Spike is based on how he appears on the cover of "Spike vs Dracula" #1, but with more of a "longing" look. Dru is based on the "LA Women" chase card from the Angel Season 2 Inkworks set. And Wesley is just based on how he looks in the "Wesley" one-shot, but with no specific scene of reference.
