From the IDW board -
Due to the usual rigamarole that can cause delays on books (comic cons, printers, distributors), Spike vs Dracula #4 won't be in stores today, July 19, as some of you might've noticed by now. But it WILL be in stores on July 26 (no, really!).
And to keep things from shipping in back to back weeks, Spike vs. Drac #5 will be in stores on August 9. That's right, for the summer--well, for this two-week span--Spike vs. Dracula is bi-weekly!
The Spike TPB (collecting Peter David and Scott Tipton's one-shots) will be in stores on on July 26, too. As will Angel Spotlight: Doyle and Angel Scriptbook 5 ("Five by Five").
August 16 will be te final Spotlight issue, Connor.
And then, coming in September, Spike: Asylum #1. It's in the printer's hands right now.
Thanks for bearing with the wonky shipping schedule this summer. Things are back in order once again.

That is great news. Spike versus Dracula is my favorite IDW mini series thus far. The one shots are all pretty solid (except Gunn's) and the Illyria one shot is probably the best Buffyverse comic ever written. I hope Conners one shot takes place during the Angel finally "Not Fade Away" or after the episode "Origins." It would also be really cool to see Conner growing up with Holtz in the Quortoth. I just hope it does not follow season 4 Conner during his manipulation by Cordelia/Jasmine.

Oooh im excited for the Connor one shot!
I'm annoyed my comic book store never got in the one shots of Wes and Gunn like they were supposed to...and they have no idea why. Grrr!

Looks like you got your wish! Post s5...and not too shabby, either. I was a little disappointed with the overall storyline but it played out well enough.

I really liked the Connor one-shot. I thought it played out almost like a pilot episode for a Connor series (not that something like that's ever going to happen, but still, one can dream)... Now it's on to the new stuff... more news posted here

There were good parts in the Connor comic but it wasn't my favorite of the oneshots. I did like more than the Gunn one though.
I'm getting Masks (finally a Cordy story), Auld Lang Syne and Spike: Asylum. Hopefully IDW will branch out more, do more oneshots with other characters besides Angel/Spike (though I do want more of those too), and ones from the past. I would love to see more of the Fanged Four, maybe a series about Angelus and Darla.

I would LOVE a connor series (I would LOVE any Buffyverse series), a TV movie would be great too.
