Yeah...a fair sized one, and not start with a trilogy or anything. Just a short shot would be fine, and we can get started.
My suggestion? Wasn't there a book with the movie tie-in? The Origin...or was that just a comic book?
For the first book, start at the beggining, and then work our way up...if that makes any sense. Maybe make a list of books, and do a Buffy survivor type thing. Whichever book gets voted off first is the book we'll read...or just do a general voting system, sort of like TRL on MTV (I guess that's still on...lol).

I'm glad there has been such a positive response! If we are assuming I'm running it (No problem if I am, but If anyone else wants to step up to the challenge then feel free) what I think we should do is choose a book first then make a list of everyone participating. I'd say a month would be about the time it would take to read a Buffy book.
So, any ideas guys?
I'd like to put in a vote for How I Survived My Summer Vacation Volume 1 (Seems apt, considering the time of year) or the first book in the amazing Lost Slayer Series (Considering it would take forever to read them all at once!).
What do all you guys want to read?

Personally I'm not picky about which book I'd read. I haven't read How I Survived My Summer Vacation Volume 1 yet, so I'd vote for that. But since I'm an Oz fan I gotta say "Into the Wild" would get my vote as well. I haven't had the chance to read that one yet either.

I'm alright with How I Survived My Summer Vacation. I have it and have only read the first story. I also ok with The Lost Slayer Part 1. I've been meaning to re-read the series.

It's 273 pages. It's 6 stories around 50 pages each about what happened between Season 1 and Season 2

Hmm...interesting...I'll have to look that book up... Let's say that our first book, then. Make it a definite. You say there's 6 stories in there? We could tackle one a week, so we don't forget about it. LOL.
So...everybody start looking for a copy of this Buffy book!

Sounds good to me. It's pretty much already been decided It's also a nice idea since it's Summer Break for most of us now. Erin - I really like that timeframe too.

Hey guys, check out the offical thread created for it. I'll create a seperate one for the reviews, but just a little something to wet your appetites. I'd appreciate it if you put your names down too, just so I can keep a track roughly of who will be taking part.
Thanks!
