I'm getting really confused about whether certain props are being made or being cancelled or being delayed or what they're doing - so I thought we could just make a list in here. If nobody else think its will help then fine but I could sure do with knowing please I really wanted the urn and the darkest magick book so what's happening with these. You guys could just list all the props if you like! ;D

This was the e-mail Cinequest sent out awhile ago that had some prop information. Now they did say the Dru/Oz wave was canned, when we now know they were just re-assorted, so take from it what you will.
Willow’s Book of Darkest Magick: cancelled Angel/Buffy Amends Motion Snowglobe: cancelled Mr. Pointy Stake Prop Replica: delayed, release date unknown
One thing to keep in mind is retailers can only go by what their computer/sales rep tells them. So if DST has other plans for some of the cancelled items, and just haven't told their sales staff yet, who knows.
I agree the Urn might just be delayed. The Urn and Mr. Pointy were sort of on the same level in terms of release features: smiliar size, about the same amount of screen time, same display format, etc. So if unless sales were horrible, it stands to reason it would still come out, just at a later date, like Mr. Pointy.
The think its sale to assume the book isn't coming out. I don't think it sold well.

That's too bad as I really wanted both of those props...they are Willow props and I think they are more than worth producing!!

I know! Willow props should definately be made. Maybe we'll get something Willow-y in the future. Not sure what though... Witch Pez - $89.99

I talked to Chuck at SDCC last year...it seemed like they were excited about the prop license. And especially the book. It's supposed to have blank pages so you can use it as a diary, or a sketchbook.
Or if you are me you'd fill it with as many page replicas and spells from the show haha.

I'm curious about these, as well. They have all these new products coming out, and yet we never get a definite on some of the older ones that've been on the preorder lists for almost a year now.

It's a shame that the Buffy props market is weak, I think its mostly due to high costs that interest is just not there. I personally wanted the Book of Darkest Magick, and IMO it would of appealed nicely to general buyers (especially those into Gothic/Vampire things).
The snowglobe was just a waste of time. Scrapping 'The First' from it would of probably reduced the price by half, there was not really any point to having it there in the first place as it was ruining B & A's "moment".
As for Mr. Pointy, it comes down to price again. I'd love to have one of my own, but it just doesn't seem right to pay that much.

Okay, I am seriously bummed. I've been looking forward to a Buffy snowglobe since the very beginning (I colllect both snowglobes and Buffy - it was a no-brainer for me).
Sigh. I agree, though, the First didn't do anything for me, either. But the rest of the snowglobe was lovely ...
