Well they can't be any worse then those beany bears that just have characters names on them and that supposes to qualify them as Buffyverse related merchandise.
I for one wouldn't mind seeing a Spike, Lorne or anyone else in plush form as long as it was made nicely and actually looked like them.

Just a minute... The plush Angels sold extremely well, so I would expect any decent business to think 'I have an idea... let's make more of other characters'
I don't really care whether it's cannon, its a plush and not necessarily a puppet. It obviously isn't going to look like James Marsters becasue it's a plush. I didn't like the first pic I saw, but I actually really like it! If I had more space and £££ I would definately buy it!!!

Now we will be able to get a Dawn plush with a voice chip so she whines every time you move her.

Now we will be able to get a Dawn plush with a voice chip so she whines every time you move her. Better yet, she can come with a laserbeam that points at your bedroom door, so everytime someone tries to enter your room without permission, she can screech, "GET OUT! GET OUT!!GET OUT!!!" frightening away any intruders.

I will continue to say that they should take the money for Spike and instead, use it to make more Smile Time characters. Anyone else agree?

I will continue to say that they should take the money for Spike and instead, use it to make more Smile Time characters. Anyone else agree? I do. I'd absolutely love a Ratio, one that makes that little toot noise when you squeeze him! Although I can't say I'd mind one of the laserbeam "GET OUT!" Dawns. That'd stop my sister snooping in my room for sure!

I'm a bit surprised so much at the hate for the very idea of more plush characters. When I heard it I thought it was a great idea! Puppet Angel as an idea is a lot of fun, and so is a Spike one.
The thing that does bother me about this though is the price. After the huge success of the Angel ones, this one costs $5 more?! I felt the Angels were about twice the price they should be. I guess they had success at that price point before so they're going for it again, but it seems wrong to actually raise it... especially if they make a Vamp Spike later too.
I'd be all over this if it was around $25-30, but it's a fun idea nonetheless.

Oh ack, still don't like it, but after I got the original Angel I didn't like him either, I thought it was a very poorly done replication of the puppet. But to each his own. But I do agree it's terribly overpriced.

Well, my puppet Spike arrived from Forbidden Planet this morning. He is much better than I expected but somehow I am not totally convinced. Spike does have the cutest little boots though! I have taken a couple of pics: Watching a repeat of Diagnosis Murder: Tall and angry: Box:

I have no interest in buying this, but I wanted to mention that this was for sale at Suncoast. Nice to see they still support the Buffy line

I've seen this in Forbidden Planet and it does look good. However I won't be buying it. If the BCC were to give it away as a free figure then I'd be temped.

I bought him to go with my battle damaged Angel. He's not arrived yet but when he does i'll give my opinion.
Does anyone have any pictures of the final product?

He looks good. Which do you think is better - Angel or Spike?

Vampy or Battle-Damaged Angel over Spike.
Though in saying that Spike is good as there is no real reference or comparison point to compare him too.
Oh, I don't know, I'm all torn now!
