I couldn't decide which forum to mention this in, since items from all sizes and categories are included, so I just picked this one. And since there are already plenty of Buffy items in there (and you might have some more suggestions), I figured it was worth noting it early. Every year for the past six years I've done the People's Pick Awards. Oh sure, I do my only selection for the best and worst of 2006 (that will come in January), but first I open up the voting for you, the reader, to decide. But rather than just throw it out there and make you do all the remembering (Hey, a year is a long time!) I put together a ballot to make the voting that much easier. I've got my first pass of the ballot now done, but here's your chance to review it and let me know if there are any other figures, busts, statues, companies, etc. you feel need to be included as part of the standard selections. I haven't gotten all the prizes filled in yet - yes, there's always prizes for some of the lucky voters - and there are a couple categories I REALLY need some help on (12" female figures???). Please review the ballot when you get a second, but don't bother voting yet, as that won't start til next week. Right now, all I'm looking for is suggestions of choices to add to the categories. Either send me an email at mwc@mwctoys.com with your input, or just respond to this thread. You can find the ballot at: www.mwctoys.com/FEATURE_120806.htmAnd watch for the voting to open early next week! Michael MWC

I just did it but there's no submit button, just "Reset", so it wiped all my answers. Should have read your post a bit closer I guess, eh?
And it should read "Most anticipated line of 2007" at the bottom right?
And how about a best accessories option and a best two-pack/set (there's a worst but not a best...)
Also "Other" maybe should have a bullet, because I selected one of the options at one point than thought of a write-in, but I could "unselect" my first impulse.
Thanks, though, it was fun, and I look forward to doing it again!

I think in the best female figure under 12" you should add the Kate lost figure, and in best male figure under 12" you should add Lost Charlie. Also in the best mini bust you should add X3 Phoenix.

Yes, as I said above, voting hasn't started yet, so there's no submit button to press. This is just for you to make some suggestions.
There's a best and worst for every category, you must have just overlooked it. Don't worry about needing a bullet for Other - if you type something in there, it overrides anything else you selected in the radio buttons when I tally them up.

I voted. Although I can't get over the fact that Wish Cordy is nominated for best female figure, but Lessons Dawn and Pylean Cordy are nominated for worst female figure.

Just a note to mention that the voting is now closed, and I'll be getting the results tallied asap (and letting prize winners now they have a package on the way). Until then, you can check out my picks and pans for 2006... www.mwctoys.com/FEATURE_010507.htm

I agreed with most of your choices despite the fact I voted otherwise. Now I'm disappointed with my voting because I voted in reference to those I was familiar with and not over all like you. At least I was there with you on that hideous Cordy figure. Plus, your photos are always so good. Really glad to hear about the Samantha Carter figure. Thanks for the reviews.
