I pre-ordered the City Of Angel a few weeks ago and i have never got any emails telling me when it'll be due to ship or when i need the money in my account so Sideshow can charge my card for the payment. Yesterday i got an email saying my card had been declined and that Sideshow hadn't been able to take the payment! What are they playing at?! They haven't even notified me that they'll be taking the money or anything! So thanks to them i have now got a £35.00 charge from my bank because there was no money in to cover the amount for the figure. I have had to cancel the order for the Angel figure because of this and now i can't get it again because it's sold out. I'm not using Sideshow if they're going to be scamming me like this

i had the same problem. I dont recieve emails anymore, i have to read about updates on here.
I got declined for the angel figure, and i was in scotland so i couldnt reply (sis doesnt have computer) i asked if they could charge me and they said that the 5 days was up, so thats fine.
but thet have a second chance on the exclusive fig, so i snapped one up and should be recieving it any day now woo hoo!
i dont think they are a scam, but i think that their halo has slipped a bt.

When you get the 'In Stock in 10-15 days' e-mail, that's usually an indication that they'll be charging you around that time.

I guess you're lucky. I won't be able to get this figure now unless it comes on eBay, but even then i'll end up paying a fortune for it on there. This had made be doubt collecting the 12" figures. I were actually thinking of selling my collection on eBay but if i did that i'd lose out on alot of money

For some reason some e-mail accounts block Sideshows e-mails thinking they are spam. I had this problem with my netzero account and it didn't matter that I added Sideshow to my address book. I had to set up a Hotmail account just so I could receive stuff from Sideshow. So it isn't exactly Sideshow's fault but I do feel bad for what you've been through.

I'm sorry for what you've gone through, too. I did get emails about the new Cordy figure, that they were expecting it in a few weeks ago, then an email on Monday that they were about to charge my credit card.
I got the same notifications about the City of Angel figure. I wonder why they are doing it only with some customers and not with others? Sounds like a bad system, or something.
