The facial likeness is definitely improved but the hair is just horrific! It such an expensive figure and they can't even sculpture the hair properly? What a shame.  |

The first pics of it were nearly identical to SMG but the new hair is just plain ugly!

Facially: incredible. Hair: It's just so much worse!
There's no feeling of hair tumbling onto her shoulders or any kind of realism there. Really surprising considering the standard. I was never very keen on the choice of outfit before, but it kind of makes sense, but that hair... Not good.

I think her hair looks ok. It's kinda better than the first attempt they did. It needs more detail on the part to the left were it comes over her shoulder because at the moment it just looks like a lump of moulded plasticine

Well that hair is just um weird for a lack of a better word. It has no texture at the ends just a gaint flat wave.

Yeah, have to agree that the hair looks even worse now than it did before. It looks so flat! Still, the face is perfect!

Shit. I am buying mine with the flex-pay option and they have already taken the 1st payment otherwise I would be cancelling my order. At least the original hair had some life to it. This, as already stated, looks just like a blob of clay. It has no definition, no flow. It doesn't look like hair now at all.

I was considering buying this awhile back if they had improved the likeness (and if I was overall pleased with how the finished product would look), but with how the hair looks now I doubt I will get it. The new hair is really bad. The hair by her shoulders is just flat, there's no depth or texture. The face is dead on though. I hope they decide to redo the hair again....

OMG, what did they do. Lets face it, buffy had large hair in season 1, this hair is flatter then she ever had it, but it should be the largest shes ever had.
If i can, im still going to get one. of course to cut into bits, make moulds and then make my own

The face is really nice. The body is also amazing but the hair is so wrong and so fake that I hated it in the first place and never thougt of buying it. It's still horrible looking.
It's a very expensive figure and you would want to have the perfect thing on your shelf for paying such a price.
Spike is way better and real and I wouldnt regret spending that much money on him.

The face is beautiful. As for the hair it is a little off, if you look at her the hair on 'our' left looks fake as the hair on 'our' right looks perfect.

Without this awful hair, the premium Buffy would be amazing and perfect. I don't understand why it's so difficult for Sideshow artists to do a realistic hair for this Buffy. Please, change it before release !

What I don't understand is why can't they improve the details on her hair when we're talking about quite a big sculpture? DST make amazing details on their figures' hair, which is just 6" tall...then how come Sideshow Toys can't put even better amount of details into a PF figure which is more than 15" tall? |

lol i agree.
The hair looks like a shoot or something. People are paying lots of money for her, and if they want a sell-out item, then they will have to go back and fix this fault.
