They just shipped mine today. When I asked Jennifer Bingham from customer service of why of the delay, she said that they moved thier warehouse and were going to start shipping the Darlas soon. So don't fret, you are one of the many that are waiting. I can't wait to get mine, I ordered both versions and I should have them by April 6th.

Did anyone else have their red darla cancelled? ? I ordered both the blue and red figures. I got a shipping notice (didn't say what for) and then later that day i got an email from sideshow saying that my order had been altered and in it it said that red darla had been cancelled. I'm not too bothered, cos i think it will be cheaper to buy her here (since they don't combine postage), but the thing is I NEVER cancelled her!!!!!! Do sideshow do this often, cancel orders for no reason? I'm just glad they didn't cancel blue darla (who is on her way- yay!). I've since ordered red darla from a shop here, so i'm not too pissed, but i hope it doesn't happen in the future. It just seems weird that they'd cancel it and not give me a reason why.

Okaay. I just got my invoice for blue darla and on it they have how much the shipping was:
US$53!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm sure their website said around $30 for a 12" figure to be sent to australia (and that's about how much it cost 18months ago).
So blue darla cost me US$98!
Now i'm really glad they cancelled red darla. Sorry for the vent, but holy shit i never for one second thought it'd cost that much to send. I really think they should let you know how much shipping is going to cost before you order (and don't say "you can ask them for a quote", cos last time i did that my figure had been here for days before they answered!).
Okay, i'm off to cancel d'hoffryn. I'm sure i can get him cheaper on ebay when he comes out.

I just got my blue Darla today. I liked her better than the red version that's why I ordered directly from Sideshow since it's the exclusive version. Lately I purchased my other figures from Ebay because both the prices and the shipping are cheaper. It cost me 29$ for shipping + another 15$ CAN for the Fedex guy for the Exclusive Darla. She's nice enough but I'm a bit disappointed about the pattern of the skirt. It looked much better in the picture. The one on the figure I got isn't as nice looking. I like the figure but I don't think I will order from Sideshow anymore since it cost so much more. Formerly the shipping was around 20$ for the other figures I bought from them, but they included the new catalog which is a bit heavy. I wonder if this could be the cause for the difference in shipping?

Formerly the shipping was around 20$ for the other figures I bought from them, but they included the new catalog which is a bit heavy. I wonder if this could be the cause for the difference in shipping? I was thinking this too. I bet the weight of the catalogue pushed up the postage costs. Darla (including her brown cardboard box) weighs 800g and the damn catalogue weighs 600g! It's a great catalogue, but i wish they'd never sent it if it meant my postage would have been $20 less! Maybe they could make it optional to receive the catalogue? And i think i will stick to ebay too. I recently bought 2 sideshow figures off ebay and the postage for the two only cost US$35 and that was registered post too. With regards to postage costs, i wish sidehsow would offer different postage options. I realise that the reason they send stuff fedex is so it's insured or whatever, but perhaps they could offer normal USPS on the condition that if the item is lost or damaged then the buyer can't make a claim or complaint??? FireflyFlanatic- has your darla shipped yet? That's weird that you're still waiting.

No, it hasn't shipped yet and I'm starting to wonder what the heck is going on.
I can't believe what you guys overseas have to pay for shipping. I don't think you should have to pay extra for the catalogue either - you didn't order that! Sideshow should cover the cost of anything extra they throw in there as promotional material.

I'm looking forward to getting mine tomorrow. I finally managed to get hold of one off eBay. They seem quite rare. Anyway i'll take pics tomorrow for ya's. I've kinda had some tips on how to take pictures of things how they would actually appear to the human eye and i think it's almost spot on
