WOW WOW WOW! Just got mine this morning, she is AMAZING! They've made her head thinner, and the clothes are spot-on. The red version is still the best. I wish I'd ordered 2 of the red one, I really want to display it but with it being such a small edition size I'm not sure if I wanna open it

I kinda like her. I think she looks awesome in her packaging, but I'm still not too keen on her face and outfit. But I could be totally wrong, so I would have to see her in person first. It's a pity because Darla is one of my favourite characters. Ah well, I can still hold out for a human version in the new Angel line

Ohhh- I got my confirmation. It should be here soon. Anybody take there's out that's received theirs? Thanks for the pics above.
I beleive both boxes are the same except the Exclusive has a sticker that says "Sideshow Exclusive" on it- but that should be all.

I beleive both boxes are the same except the Exclusive has a sticker that says "Sideshow Exclusive" on it- but that should be all. Thats stupid since they are both technically "Sideshow exclusives". Oh well, its not such a big deal but I like to display my boxes side by side on a shelf so they could've at least made one side in the red outfit and if you flip it over, it would show the blue outfit. Since the runs arent that different 500 v. 750...they could've at least made 2 different boxes.

The Stickers themselves are fairly new and took them YEARS to do that.

The Stickers themselves are fairly new and took them YEARS to do that. You've got to be kidding me. They charge $45 for these and you think its too much to ask for different boxes??? And, I never said entirely different boxes...just that both versions should be shown on the boxes. Many of the figures have different images on either side of the box...so it obviously doesnt cost a whole lot to do so. Since the 2 runs arent that different 500 v. 750, both versions should be represented. The stickers are POINTLESS for this particular variant since BOTH red and Blue Darlas are "SIDESHOW EXCLUSIVES". So there is no reason why they both shouldnt have the stupid stickers.

Well, not exactly. The blue outfit is the Sideshow Exclusive, meaning more limited, version. Just because they didn't make very many of the red version, either, doesn't make it an "exclusive"

The fact that it is exclusive to Sideshow toys is what makes it an exclusive. Much like D'hoffryn and Der Kindestood...both versions of Darla were only sold on the sideshow website...you cant preorder them on nearly every site like the recently announced Angel figure. The fact that it is exclusive to their website makes it an exclusive...thats the definition of the word "exclusive"...I dont understand why thats a problem to understand.

You make a good point FM but Sideshow's website lists the Blue Darla as the Exclusive and not the Red Darla. But, technically, you are completely correct in stating that if it is only exclusive to get through their site, they both should be considered "Exclusive" editions. Why that isn't the case doesn't make any sense to me. The only difference in the two is that one is in blue and one is in red and there are more of the red even though it is still a small number to begin with. We aren't getting any extra accessories with the blue Darla that I know of or could see on their site.

Okay, that makes sense, FM.
Has anyone else in the US NOT gotten their shipping notice yet for Darla? I'm starting to get a little paranoid.

I haven't gotten mine yet either. I was having problems with the Sideshow website so I called them to try and fix the problem and while I was on the phone with them I asked about the status of my Darla figures and I was told that they haven't started processing them yet and would be starting to process them in a couple of days. I called a couple of days ago so it should be anytime now. I also started a thread over on the Sideshow Freaks board asking if anyone has been notified and everyone that has responded has not gotten a notification yet.

Thanks, FireflyFlanatic! Good to know that it's everyone, not just me.Usually it only takes a few days from that "we're beginning to process orders for this item" email before I get the notice I've been charged and the figure has shipped. I guess I'm just really excited to get this one, and can't wait to have it in my hands.
