I don't know whether or not Sideshow intends for this to become a line, but I think Angel is the obvious choice for the next figure. Spike seems likely as well. I would really like to see either the Master or an Ubervamp done though!

Good topic I think Spike is most likely, personally i would like a Willow, she's a main character and my favorite (together with Dawn and Tara, but they probably won't get done), not to mention, her 12" figure sucked so that would be sort of like a second chance for Sideshow to get a good likeness.

I like your suggestion of the Turok-han or Master. That'd be so cool. I think Angel or Spike will probably be next though.

"The Wish" Cordelia would make a perfect premium figure. Also an updated Willow is a must.

Well, over on the Sideshow Freaks forum someone listed some quotes from a Sideshow chat by Sideshow VIPs discussing how Illyria would be a difficult figure to do justice in a 1:6 scale format and a lot of people took that as a strong hint that they intend to do her in a 1:4 scale format. I'd love to start collecting all of these but I can't afford it but I'd make an exception for an Illyria!

With the price of these figures, I want them to stick with ONLY main characters and ONE costume that defines that character. I think other fans will agree.

I agree. Here's my wish list...
Buffy Xander and Willow Giles Cordelia
Angel and Spike
The Master and a Turok Han - These two represent the full circle of Big Bads. The Master was the first Big Bad, and the Turok Han was the last Big Bad (that was corporeal). And both are vampires.

I do agree, but i don't think Sideshow would even risk coming out with 'minor' characters, that may work for the 12" line ... but with expensive pieces like this, i don't think they will sell (and Sideshow is probably smart enough to realise that). i sure as hell am not gonna pay 250 for a Kendra or anything

Here's Sideshow's "Seven of Nine" figure to give you an idea: www.sideshowtoy.com/cgi-bin/category.cgi?item=7128She's pretty impressive looking! And yes, it's a sculpted figure but it does have real clothing. So it's basically a dressed mini statue.

So it will have articulation and everything like a sideshow figure and the clothing will be made from fabric? That 7of8 figure looks all sculpted but I am thinking it is because her outfit is shiny and tight. thanks

I believe the whole figure is made up of one piece of polystone , but yes, the clothing is made from fabric. Makes the figure actually look more real to me with the actual clothing.

I'd love it if the next one was Angel. But, seeing as how I'll never be able to afford one of these anyway, I guess it doesn't matter what I think! Lmao

I think they'd probably do Spike, Angel, Willow, Xander and Giles. The only one I'd definitely get would be Spike, with Angel and Willow the next most probable, but I'm not ruling out any of them if the sculpt is good enough. The Buffy looks great, but while I like the character, I'm not sure I'll spend that much on one, especially a Season One version. I'll have to see it in person.
But I have no idea where I'd actually put an 18" figure.

Given how much those Sideshow human-faced Spikes have gone for in the past, he'd definitely be a perfect candidate for the Premium Format treatment.
I think he would look great with a What's Line Drusilla in the black gown. Those two would be a spectacular Preumiun Format pair.
Has Sideshow ever done a couple in the Premium Format before?

But I have no idea where I'd actually put an 18" figure. It will actually only be about 15.5 inches (perhaps 16) since SMG is short. 6 feet tall in real life = 18 inch figure

I don't own any premium format figures yet, but I have heard from people who do that they do have VERY limited articulation...just enough to fit the clothes on basically.

I'd really really like a Vampire Angel/ I'd say Anya, but I'm still waiting on a 12" Anya
