I really think the first one will be Angel, it is after all his show. But I am hoping a Cordelia follows very closely. Then Wes. It'll be interesting to see which monsters they do.

Yeah, definitely Angel first - wouldn't make any sense to do another figure first for the Angel line. I'm betting he won't be alone and that they'll do him and another figure at the same time. I'm still betting we get Cordelia for the Buffy line first.

LOL Arlyrenee! I just said something similar to that over on the Whedonesque board - that I wanted a singing Barry Manilow Angel "Oh Mandy..."!
The Darla's are coming out first quarter. D'Hoffryn is coming in the second quarter. Giles and Cordelia are the only two original characters left from Buffy that haven't been announced yet so I still think Cordy for Buffy first before Angel. I'm thinking we'll get a long haired Cordy for Buffy and the shorter hair version for Angel, maybe even a "Your'e Welcome" Cordy just because she looked so fantastic in that episode.
And I definitely think there must be an Origin's Darla in the works to go with Liam.

Well as long as they don't overload us with a heap of angel and spike figures- i get a bit sick of the same characters. I know it makes sense to do angel first....let's hope if they do do spike and angel it's in their boxer rebellion get up. I used to want DST to do the fanged four in those costumes, but i think they'd be better if sideshow made them (yep, in my dreams).
And can i put my name down for a singing angel doll???

And can i put my name down for a singing angel doll??? OMG, please, NOOOOOOO. No singing dolls. Apart from that this is the best news I have had for ages. As an Angel fan I can't wait to see what they come up with, even though my wallet is screaming in protest just at the thought of having to pay for them all. Merry Xmas & Happy New Year Paul

I'm really pleased about this new news. I'd love to have a Wes and a Lorne figure, as well as more Spike's and Angel's. Sorry I can't get enough of those two!! I do hope though they tighten up a bit on the sculpted likenesses, as I've not be enamored of some of their work of late. Maybe this would be a great oppertunity to re-do that awful Faith figure.

I'd love to have a Wes and a Lorne figure, as well as more Spike's and Angel's. Why Spike? The only Spike figure I can think of that would work is Nazi Spike, but that is about it. Anything else would be a waste of a character to make.

Because I like the character. *Looks at own bannar, oh there's a surprise!*
It would be great to have a William and Angelus from Destiny for example.

this is soooo awesome, hopefully, like SueWorld2003 said, they will take more time on their sculpting like the first few Buffy sideshow figures were. The ones im hoping for first are Youre Welcome Cordelia, which i think will definately be made and Illyria and normal Fred. Who knows, we may even get an Orpheus Willow, with a good Likeness? and maybe even a new faith with an Eliza Dushku likeness! but im most excited to see an Illyria with full Leather Patchwork suit and Double Swords. I really cant wait for this, its gonna rock, when do you think they will show the first figure? wayne

Im so happy!!!!!!!
I dont buy the buffy 12 inch sideshow figures but I love angel so much more so I think I will definately be buying these figures! Iv collected 6inch figures since the first wave and recently iv just lost my enthusisaim for collecting as im bored of the 6 inch figures so i think i may just stop collecting all together and just focus on these angel sideshow figures.
Figures i want to see (not saying theyll be made just ones id love to own)....
General angel city of in the dark cordy youre welcome cordy princess cordy illyria fred magic bullet wesley (are you now or ave u ever been) lorne judgement and HAW parting gifts wesley spike nazi outfit 'Darla' figures-master(in cloak siring darla) & fanged 4. darla reprise red dress gunn-general street clothes.
I can only dream of the customs that Wayne is gonna come out with when these figures start being produced.

Anything else would be a waste of a character to make. Well, there's always 1880 Human William (seen briefly in "Darla") 1880s William the Bloody ("Darla," "Destiny," "The Girl In Question") 1900 Boxer Rebellion Spike ("Darla") Heck, you could even do a 1950s "Ciao" Italian Spike and Dru ("The Girl In Question") Why would it be a waste of a character? It would sell. Spike sells, often better than Buffy or Angel. Isn't that what Sideshow is making these for? To sell them? If the average person on the street walks into a shop and sees a Grooselug figure and a Spike figure, which are they most likely to buy? Not that there isn't room for a Groo as well, but why ignore your cash cow? (And while I'm at it, I also want a 1950s "Are You Now Or Have You Ever" Angel, with the red windbreaker from the observatory scene. And a Victorian Angelus. And a demon Angel. And early Season 5 Corporate Angel. And...)

Don't expect Doyle as he will be tough to get the license for (Being as Glen Quinn died a few years back). Umm...I dont think many of the actors have any say in what figures get made. Only the very major and important ones have anything to do with likeness approvals...many of the not-so-big guys dont have that luxury...and I cant imagine Glenn Quinn having an action figure likeness approval clause in his contract. It just doesnt work like that.

Fine, I give up. Give us Spike. Since his character was such an important part of the Angel universe. We don't need a Cordelia or Fred, no no. And Gunn, screw him! Just give us Spike! WooT!
*cough*
All I'm saying is, would you rather a pile of Spike figures, like we've seen in the Buffy line, or would you like some characters that actually had vital roles?
