Thanks guys I'm quite pleased with how it turned out. I used a textured spray paint FleckStoneIt's a cheap and easy way to change the looks of the stands. They have some other beautiful colors, and I may use some different ones for the different figures.

Oooh, I like it. It really takes away that tacky feel that some of the stands have. I think this will look really good with Subway Spike, Vampire Darla, Drusilla and Faith. You must try some other textures too!

Love this idea!! I'd be afraid to do it though in case someday I want to sell my collection. But I love how they look!

You must try some other textures too! Yes I think so too! I have in mind a crackle finish (red/black) for The Master.

And a couple of pictures on their fancy new stands. Mr Rat seems to blend in a bit too much, so I may have to give him a touch of color here and there.

You've really given the stands a fresh new look that fits better with the figures. They look really nice, great job!

Some new colors I have tried for the stands. I particularly love the green, it looks fabulous up against the figure and give a nice 'outdoorsy' look.

I'd be afraid to do it though in case someday I want to sell my collection you can leave your buffy/angel stands alone and buy Sideshow figure stands for $5. or even cheaper yet, just do a search for 'doll stands'. buy a $2 one and spray away

I don't collect with the intention of selling in the future, my figures are with me to stay and I have no intention of parting with them, I customize to enjoy them more. I have taken a look at buying Sideshow stands but really don't want to pay additional expense. Besides the paint is not waterproof, little soaking in water and it peels right off

The stands do look better this way, but I'd rather leave mine as is, with the Buffy the Vampire Slayer logo on them and all.

I really do like what you have done to them. They bring the figures to life. Or atleast make them look a lot more interesting.
