Wow...all that commotion over the preorders for nothing... Same happened with Angel last year and look what happened...Werewolf Oz barley sells past his MSRP on ebay, hence alot of cancelations (most were hoping it would be like Angel and sell for twice as much)

I'm glad the greedy b*stards on Ebay didn't get the prices they wanted! I lucked out and got one for only a little bit more than what I paid for him on Sideshow (I needed two). I think Sideshow allowing us to have a chance at the pre-orders helped keep the prices down on Ebay. A good amount of us were able to get a figure early and the rest that weren't put there names on the waitlist and weren't taking the Ebay bait.
TruBuffyFan, you should call Sideshow and ask them what happened. Maybe they'll be able to find one for you.

I saw him listed as sold out today when I was on their Buffy page so I just did a search and you have to go through their "Second Chance" link to buy him. Here it is: www.sideshowtoy.com/cgi-bin/category.cgi?category=search&item=20221SC&type=storeWhy they are doing it this way makes no sense to me. I don't see why they don't have him listed still up for sale on their regular WW Oz page. Maybe it's because it was announced in the newsletter and they're giving newsletter people a chance to get him first? Also, he's listed on the regular page for $45 and on the second chance page he's listed for $50.

They would rather direct you to the 'Second Chance' page in hopes of buying other figures from the, instead od just that one. I don't think WW Oz even shows up in a search.
