SHIPPING DATE UPDATES We would like to announce changes in the anticipated shipping dates of the items below.
BUFFY: Origins Angel - #2016 (3rd Qtr. 2005) HIGHLANDER: Connor MacLeod - #5601 (3rd Qtr. 2005) HIGHLANDER: Duncan MacLeod - #5602 (3rd Qtr. 2005) LOTR: King of the Dead - #9343 (3rd Qtr. 2005) LOTR: Pippin, Guard of the Citadel - #9319 (3rd Qtr. 2005)
This was in the current newsletter. He was supposed to be shipping this quarter but they've now pushed it back for next quarter! No news on when Der Kindestod is coming but he's supposed to coming this quarter.
So unless they change Xander and Oz, that will now be three figures coming in the third quarter. I think my wallet is going to be hurting again!

My wallet will be hurting as well. I ordered both versions of Oz, Xander and Origins Angel. Hopefully they ship them together in 1 box. It's nice in one way to get all the figures at once to add them all to a collection. Yet in another way it is very expensive.

I ordered both versions as well (and will be ordering the regular version of Xander when he's available too) so yes it will be another costly month if they send them all at once. It was fun getting the Vampire Spikes and PG Buffys and Willow all around the same time but I also think it takes a little bit away from the enjoyment of getting just one figure at a time. It's kind of like Christmas when you get so much at once that you don't really appreciate some of the really great gifts as much as you would if you got it separately.

Hey FireflyFlanatic, there is no exclusive version of Xander, Sideshow only has an exclusive accesory, the yearbook that the first 500 customers get with the figure. Unless you keep the figures in their package it's really not necessary to buy 2 Xander figures. The only reason that I bought 2 Oz figures is to display one in his normal shirt and one in his world Tour shirt.

I'm not counting on Sideshow shipping these figures together to save us on freight because they didn't do that with the most recent ones that shipped. I had a figure come one day and then two days later another came and then a day after that the third came. They could've shipped them all at once but they didn't. I'm actually kind of disappointed that they did that. They didn't seem like the type of company they came across as.

Oh, I realize that the "regular" one is the same figure as the exclusive (and yes, he is listed as an "exclusive"). I need to order one for my daughter when they sell out the "exclusives". In the past, they allowed you to buy two figures of the exclusive but they don't do that anymore so I have to pre-order the first one, wait until that is sold out and then when they list him as a "regular" version I'll need to order him so my daughter can have one too. I like the extras that come with the exclusives (even though I think another candelabra with the Origins Angel is a disappointing one considering that's what the master came with).
Also, from a resale value, the figures that come with the exclusives usually bring in big bucks compared to what was initially paid for them.
And in case you still don't know what I mean by having to wait to order the regular version is that Sideshow will first offer up the "Exclusive" version and when they sell out, they make the regular version available to buy. This is what they did with Oz.
I think with the Prophecy Girl Buffys they had both available at the same time because they were so different from each other.

That seems kind of stupid on Sideshows part to only allow you to order one. Hey are you part of the Time and Space Toys Collectors club? I only ask this because the figures are cheaper than Sideshow. They sell for $31.99, if not than I'd recommend it to save in the future on the regular versions for your daughter.

Thanks Buffyfannumero for the suggestion of T&S toys. I only collect the Sideshow line so I don't know if it would be worth it for the membership fee with what I would save. I did cancel my regular Oz order from Sideshow and I went to a website called 'Dark Action Figures' or something like that and pre-ordered both the regular Oz and regular Xander and saved money on both of them. I've ordered from them before and they are pretty good.
I'm just going to buy the exclusives from Sideshow from now on. This other place has cheaper prices and cheaper shipping so I'm saving some money too!
