Anyone Having Trouble With their Sideshow Figs?

Okay,

I anyone else having trouble with their Sideshow figures Boxes? First I get them and they are fine, but then they started to become warped... They are so cool looking, but know they will not stay closed well... And when they are closed, I will look up later, and the velcrow(spelling) will be undone. Both pieces will be on one side or the other... Then when I put them back, it happens again... So annoying... Still love the Figures Though! Just wanted to know if this happens to anyone else... I think my room is too humid...

Where do you live? The problems you describe do sound related to humidity. I haven't heard of anything like this before, though, I have to admit.

What exactly do you mean by 'warping', btw? I'm a little confused by what's happening there.

maybe its the weight of the cardboard stock pulling the velcro opened, if its displayed sitting upright?

I took mine out of the boxes and stacked the boxes on their sides and have not seen any warpage in my boxes...

Not sure whats happening with yours though, its either a weight/environment problem...

Yeah, it's almost definitely environmental factors causing the problems. I've seen quite a few Sideshow figures (Bonds, Monsters etc.) sit at a store near me for long periods of time but have never noticed warping or the boxes opening. In fact, if I want to open the
'front' to look at the figure, I always feel that the velcro is holding it extremely firmly.

Well the front, if you feel it, sticks out at the top, then sinks in in the middle... now the velcrow is misaligned from eachother...

Dont feel bad! The same thing has happened to my Buffy and Angel as well. It is the humidity more than likely.
