I bought one... But I don't display her. I did for about a week but after the novality of having a new figure wore off I took her off the shelf. I displayed her untill I walked in and saw My OMWF Buffy trying to stake her. I took a hint and put her in a pretty little cage. That is the best thing I have heard all day!

I bought her, but only because I'm a completist. I don't like the figure, and honestly, I'm not a big fan of the character. However, I love my Illyria figure. I like the character a lot more, and the detail on the suit is incredible.

I love Fred, but didnt waste my money on that abismal figure.
I only aim to get one variant of each character and I have both Illyria's so that's close enough for me. But if they released a half decent Fred I'd snap it up.

I think I actually bought four Season 3 Fred's, but I wound up getting like five or six with the free ones that I got from BCC. I kept one on the card, displayed one with Mr. Feigenbaum (sp?), and dressed one in Slave Cordy's rags & collar holding the bucket and shovel. I gave two to my neices and they love them. I have one extra that I may sell in a whole set one day. She was not what I had hoped for but she is better than no Fred at all in my opinion.

So, if one day I try to sell a whole set of Angel figures that includes all of the characters that were made from the show, someone who wants them will not buy them because there is 1 Fred in the mix? Why not?

Wow, I must say I am suprirsed by the all of the hatred towards the Fred figurine. I must be in the minority who really quite likes it! I am thoroughly impressed with the head sculpt, as I find it looks almost identical to Amy Acker, plus I quite like the outfit. The only issue I have with the figure is the scale, but I can live with that as long as I don't stand her next to any shorter figures

I fell in love with the Fred figure when I first saw her, but with all new figures I don't expect much from the final products. I understand it wasn't DST fault that she turned out to be bucher than Wesley but I simply don't want a piece of crap like that ruining my collection. I can still prey that DST will stop flooding us with far too many varients and spend more money on getting their figures right!

We Need To Start A We Heart Fred Club! The Fred Action Figure Could Be Our Mascott!! I think that I'd lie a we heart Fred club, that way Diamond would see that we love this character. I loved the character, true the figure wasn't the best but I bought it because of how much of a completionist I am and a Fred fan.

When Fred was announced, I planned to get her... but then they showed the first images of her, and I reversed my plans. They made a great sculpt, but the deco (paint) sucked as did her outfit and hairstyle (IMO). Then the final product rolled out, and you guys posted pics of Manfred the Tall... that sealed her fate for me.
Here's something some (most?) of you won't want to read. So here's a warning, if you're a DST regular line cheerleader then stop reading now. One thing I liked about Moore's sculpting was that he did his best to make female sculpts look beautiful or sexy or whatever. DST wants to keep the regular figures as close to the old MAC line as possible... so why choose a frumpy outfit for Fred, who looked so damn sexy throughout season 5? Just my rant about the Fred figures. Here's hoping DST makes a great set of deluxe Fred figures to make up for the regular version's atrocities. They've proven the potential (no pun intended) for that deluxe line.

Through various Deals at BCC, I got about a dozen, but I never paid more than $4 a piece for them. I've made/am still making alot of customs from them. I never really liked the actual release, but the face was good enought that I was able to use it for other figures with better scaled bodies.

When i got my Fred, it was hard to realize the big scale issue. Indeed, as a single figure, even though she's butchier than sexier, she looked ok to me. Then, I soon figured what was her problem, her size ! compared to other female figures from the Angel line (Cordy and Darla), she was a giant...Eversince, in attempt to make a custom, she has been taken apart, and when I planned on putting her head on an Anya body, her skin tone made me freak out! She's now laying in a closed box where i can't look at her cuz she's way too UGLY! and I quite don't like that plastic they used on her.

I took some members' advice and made my own boil & pop customs. I made a great Fred figure by putting a Fred head on an Intervention Dawn body. Her size is perfect and she looks great displayed next to ROF Wesley and illyria. My regular Fred figure I put Slave Cordy's rags and collar on and made a slave Fred that looks pretty decent.
