I just thought I'd make this a seperate thread, just so it would be sure to get everyone's attention. I just got back home from Tower Records (Picking up the new Ryan Cabrera DVD ^_^ ) and browsed at the figures while I was there. Boy was I surprised at what I found!!
Right before my very eyes were The Ring Angel and Pylea Angel!! I never expected to see them there. It looked as if a new shipment had JUST come in, because they were stocked pretty nicely. They also had one Vamp Angel left.
Then, amongst the Illyria figures were FIVE THAW Lornes!!
Surprisingly, out of the Angel/Fred wave, the two main figures were the two figures that were nowhere in sight. (Apart from the elusive Shells Illyria)
There were also quite a few Hell's Bells Anyas and BY Spikes there, but...they've been there for months anyway.
I just thought I'd give people a heads up to check their local Tower Records, incase you wanted a chance at picking any of those up without resorting to online buying.

Okay okay that's all very fine, but how much did the Ryan Cabrera cd cost? There is no Tower Records here, alas.

Wacky... Signed or unsigned? They're unsigned. Still, I found it to be a very strange thing... And the Angel thing was very unusual to me, too. It seems like the Angel/Fred wave is the first DST wave for us in the US where all of the figures can be purchased in a store like that, without having to order online. |

My Tower Records has some figures that are exclusives held by other people as well. There's The House Always Wins Lorne, Rain of Fire Wes, deluxe Bad Girls Faith, Hell's Bells Anya, and Beneath You Spike. They don't have any Angel figures beyond Vampire Angel, but they seem to be selling well.
I'm wondering if they're going to get the regular assortment of Angel and Fred, because their prices are really good at only $11.99 per figure as opposed to Suncoast's $14.99.

My Tower Records has those, too. I figure it must've been a case of just the exclusive figures, since I didn't see any regular Angels, Freds, or Illyrias.

Does anyone know why Season 5 ANgel costs 15, while all other including exclusives cost 12? And does Tower not know what Clearance means? They had a 60% off clearance in January, and the figures did not sell. Yet they are still selling them for the full price of 12. Doesn't this seem odd?

I just got back from tower and I noticed that too. I was picking some of the new InuYasha figs(and browsing for Marvel Minimates) when I started looking at the Buffy/Angel figs. I thought "hey, they're probably on sale, and they would be great for getting some doubles for MOC and customizing," but then I saw the price and was saddened. It was really strange and I have no Idea why he was higher. I mean I could understand if it was Shell's Illyria(and they had 10 of them, literally) but not the regular S5 Angel  |

I think the other Tower I go to bought the Customizer special. All they had were 10 S5 Angels, 10 S4 wes, 2 S3 Fred, 2 Judgement Lornes

I stopped at Tower today and they still have complete lines of figures. Somehow, Tower always gets in all the online exclusive. I emailed TST and apparently they won't be giving any Buffy Bots to Tower. If you want Buffy Bot, you have to get her online.
