Now that everything is settling down somewhat, I want to express my appreciation for the wonderful paint job, especially the pale green shoes, my curiosity as to what the red drink is, and, JusticeDemon, if you're reading, my continuing chagrin that Lorne does not look you in the eye. He would. You know he would.
And if you're reading this, when the heck are you people going to come to your senses and make the nerd trio?

I got mine yesterday in CA (ordered on the first day of the news, last Monday?). I was so happy to see that DST used a big box with really good packing to make sure no damage happened during shipping.

I am clueless as to why, but my cats have decided that the LOTP Lorne Diamond box is their new Disneyland. We have so many other boxes... I am somewhat alarmed.

Mothperson, my cat likes whatever box or bag is new. Actually, he takes over anything new that is brought into the house. If a paper grocery bag is left open on the floor, pretty soon a little cat paw will be seen batting out of it.
I bought him this little Kitty Cuddler bed, where he could get in it instead of using tacky boxes. He wanted nothing to do with the cushiony bed, but I have several pictures of him inside the box. He was fascinated with it for two days!
Who knows why cats are like that. I just call him Adventure Kitty and let him provide the entertainment around here.

Eeeeeeek. And aaaaaack. And falling on the floor and ouch! !! Is that your dog??? Well, whatever. I hurt from laughing. I understand about cats. I just don't understand why my two took such a special interest in the LOTP box. If Diamond is catnipping the cardboard, I want full disclosure.

I got my Blue Lorne from DST this week. I ordered it early Wednesday and I got it the next afternoon. DST's shipping has been amazing for me! I love this blue Lorne figure. I know it's just a re-painted Jugdement Lorne but I don't care. I think it is my favorite Lorne of all, I just wish I could afford another one to open, but at $30 a pop, I have to sacrifice sometimes.

I got my Lorne on Friday and noticed that the sticker was not numbered in the _________ of 500 part. Are these supposed to be numbered or did they just forget?

Mine is 55 of 500. You can barely see it because it's written in black and I think the stage stand is right behind it. So it's black on black. You may have to hold it up to a light, at an angel to see your number.

If anyone receives Lornes that are missing the numbering, just send us an email at customerservice@diamondselecttoys.com and we'll exchange it for a numbered one. There may also be some Lornes out there that have been personalized (To "Name" written above the signature) that were mixed up with the regular un-personalized ones. If anyone gets one of those, we're offering some extras if they exchange it for a regular one.

I was just curious if the number was supposed to be there or not.

Got mine today...at first I thought it was 153/500 but on closer inspection I think it's 453 /500. Are they going in order? If so I'm glad I got mine as that means they are almost out (unless they are just randomly distributing them, and if so didn't mean to panic anyone!).
I too opened mine - I had even emailed DST to see if they had Unsigned ones (I didn't think to ask about unnumbered ones) even if the price wasn't too different as I felt guiloty opening something that was a collector's item for the signature(or number) alone. I guess that's easy enough to fake though (tho not sure why anyone would want to).
Anyway, I agree that he's a very cool Lorne (hey, how can ice blue not be cool?) but Pylean Lorne in the Liberace Orange Suit is still my favorite (not only for the color, but also his facial detail is still better - maybe since the head was a separate piece and could have closer detail applied?). I'm still missing Vegas Lorne, so I guess I can't *really* say for sure until I have all of him, but so far (from what I have and pics, in order of Favorite from most to least) it's Pylea Lorne, Life of the party Lorne, Vegas Lorne, and finally Judgement Lorne (I wonder why it seems like the boring figs are always the general ones? Ah - because no one wants a boring figure for an exclusive! Sorry, just figured it out myself). :-)

My Lorne is 253. If they are going in order then Lorne has sold pretty quickly. Might mean that they'd do more signed figures, which is great, as long as they post them to other countries too. I only got a Lorne cos Justhad was nice enough to get me one.

In my $70+ order I did not receive a personalized autographed Lorne, but I did receive a personalized autographed 'Grave Spike'! To Crystal James Marsters *Sigh* and it was such a good paint job, too! Oh, and it was signed by JAMES MARSTERS! *Sigh* I just e-mailed DST to tell them. Karen

Karen, that is so weird! But DST did say they had some confusion with shipping and sent some personalized Lornes to the wrong people. I guess that included some other figures!
I hope you get your Lorne.

Girl Power Wrote: I'm sorry, I didn't mean to confuse anyone . I did receive a regular signed (not personalized) Lorne figure when I re-ordered it after the initial confusion. I ordered a bunch of other stuff at the same time as the Lorne figure, including a 'Grave Spike'. I had been on the look out for a personalized autograhed Lorne after reading JusticeDemon's post, but I was just surprised to receive an autographed Spike figure. Karen

Not sure if anyone else (was stupid enough as me to have) opened Lorne, but I did (I'm an opener!). So if anyone has any questions about any of his details, or wants any shots of him, lemme know and I'll be happy to take some (FYI - I'll have to use my less-than-fantastic Digital Camera for now as my best friend took his super nice one home for Christmas Picture taking. But if someone wants some pics and the inital ones are craptastic, then I'll re-take them Tuesday when my pal gets back. Can anyone tell I'm bored? :-) Oh! Maybe I can work on some long-delayed projects (gees, can't believe I just now thought of that - where is my mind these days???).

I'd love to see some pictures of Party Lorne out of his package! I've been debating getting one, and I know I'd want to open it, but it seems a shame to open when it's autographed, so I've been procrastinating. If it's no problem, please go ahead and post some pictures! TIA!
