She looks cool. I'm glad I shelled out the money for her even if what they did with her kind of screwed everyone. I still like it.

I don't think DTS screwed people...the fact is, she was suppose to be an exclsuive, and it just never happened. Its not Diamonds fault, it just fell through. Im glad they released her atleast, even though I don't care for this figure (or human form) that much.

Cool picture, nothing special, though, I do like the red paint job over the blue.

I'm not flippin' over her. I much prefer my blue WTTH Darla over her. Oh well. Really? I found the blue one to have a ugly skirt... to much white over the blue. This one is much more... well... episode better, though, it should be called Angel Darla.

I was about to pay $60 for one on ebay and I changed my mind at the last minute. With the Wesleys and Lornes, Deluxe figures, Angel & Fred, Buffy & DAwns, the Buffy busts, the library playset, and the PALZ, I am just about exhausted in the funds! This Darla is going to be like Triangle Tara for me. I want her, but I just refuse to pay those high prices anymore.

Went to Comic Con today. It was fun.
The Vamp Darla has kind of bright skin. Almost orangey. Also, every figure has a kind of clumpy edge on the bangs. Otherwise, the eyes and bumpies look good, unlike the googley-eyed human-face school girl Darla.
They had Julie Benz sign boxes full of them. I'm sure the $30 price tag is for the $5 signature and shipping. That's actually a very fair price.
Julie Benz was GORGEOUS and so sweet to everyone, even after a long day of signing. Mercedes McNab called in sick, unfortunately.

So much better to buy from members then Ebay, plus safer.

This one looks so much better than WTTH Darla. For one it's episode specific, two, it looks like the character and three, she looks excellent in Red.
Although I'm so disappointed that I won't be getting one. No way am I going to pay ridiculous shipping from the US or ludicrously high ebay prices.

But it's not episode specific... or not the episode it says it is. Yes, I agree, ebay prices go WAY over for things like this. What was it, people on ebay had it at like 50$ minimum last time I check.

Yeah, thanks are in order to Girl Power for helping some of us get this Darla! She looks great. If there is a bit of paint clumpage on the bangs, I'm sure that can be fixed with some sandpaper or even a fingernail

I want to clarify that the skin is only the orangey side of peach on the neck. The face paint is perfect. The eyes are the best likeness to the penetrating vamp eye look on BTVS figs that anyone has done yet. The face color is very natural with excellent shading for the cheecks, etc.
I like this figure much better than the paint job on the face of the human-faced WTTH Darla.
I think the people who got it will be happy with it.
And I'm happy I could help some people out getting this one. I wish I'd bought a couple extra for others. I bought 9 at the con, but it looks like a few more people would have liked them.

Does anyone know where I can get Vampire Schoolgirl Darla, besides ebay? Would $60 be too much for an autographed one?

Well... You missed the rush of asking people. You really should of got a reserve from someone who was going.
I was to pay about 30$ for an autographed one, so if you think 60$ is good, then go for it.
I think alot of ebay sellers are ripp offs. A normal price for the Darla should be around 20-30 at max.

Can I ask a question? Now, don't kill me, but whats wrong with people selling them for $50 if thats what their going for on ebay? When I go into these Buy/Sell/Trade forums I see people trying to sell red pants willow for $50, why? Because she is worth that much, right? And 9/10 you bought it when she was $15....So whats wrong with selling Darla (or any exclusive) for $50?

IMO it is rude to buy a figure at 15$, and turn around and sell it for 50$. 30$ Sure, but 50$ is a little exstream. Alot of people are doing it to sell figures.
I find alot of people over price figures and its a shame people pay that much for figures. I just find over paying for a figure is stupid, that is one of the reasons I will never buy a Triangle Tara.
