I emailed Cinequest and Time & Space about when they will start taking pre-orders for the Spike/Darla figures. So far only Cinequest has responded with this: Sometime this week…. Mark Del Vecchio CineQuest.com www.cinequest.com***Updated 8/03*** This morning I got this email from Cinequest regarding the Spike/Darla line. Just as an update…..though there has been great press out of comic-con on the figures, Diamond has not yet given dealers the okay to start taking orders on any of the spike/darla line….we’re waiting hopefully for an answer from them this week…….

Why order the figures 6 months in advance when they'll be readily available upon their release?
Has cinequest sold out of Dark Willow yet? It'll be the same deal with these figures.
Hang onto your money,

Except for Cinequest, most companies do not charge upfront on preorders. So I always place preorders just to get the ordering out of the way.

i don't know why but i never bother ordering the figures. FP always seems to get them in and never sells out early so i will just get them when they are on sale there.

I'll be ordering them as soon as they are available. I'm so glad they come out in December, since they will be some of my Christmas gifts. -CMK

I'm going to order them right away too. I don't like having it hang over my head, and prefer getting it done right away.

I always do the preorders as far in advance as possible since I make payments twards my total it gives me extra time to save then I can spend more but it doesnt feel that way.

Hang onto your money, Maybe you missed the whole cancellation of the lines fiasco last year... it was blamed on low preorders. And while it's far less likely to happen with DST at the helm, I know myself and a lot of others now preorder to ensure that kind of thing doesn't happen again.

I would be less hesitant to pre-order if I could get everything at one store... But exclusives kinda ruin that... I mean I want my reg and vamp Spikes... But I want Grave Spike too... And now I want Beneith You Spike just for his damn Zippo lighter hehe... I dont even want the actual figure LOL. F4L Spike is cool, but not a priority right now I guess. As for Darla... Just the human schoolgirl one for me... Now if I could just get em all together....
