I've waited that long for this figure that I really couldn't care less. DST have annoyed me with their mystisism over the figure and even if I could get it I probably wouldn't in protest.

I agree that this figure has lost its luster for the most part since we have so many cool Wes, Lorne, Buffy, Faith, etc. figures coming up. Had it come out with the rest of the Spikes and Darlas, I would have snatched one up for sure. Now it will depend on availability online and the price. If I miss out on it, I wont be crushed.
It is cool that DST has finally produced this figure for the fans that really want it. I have a feeling it was really touch and go there for awhile, with no exclusive holder signing up.

ok ok Who do i have to sleep with in here to get one? Me. Just kidding I am not going I wish I was but I am all the way over here in PA so no chance for me. I am disappointed that she is an exclusive-BUT so far with SDCC Spike, and WTWillow Diamond made those available to alot of Radical Member's I know everyone didnt get one but enough did that made the price go down from 300$ to an easy $20-30 bucks on ebay, so I am going to hope that they do something like that again I know alot of us are disappointed but come on guys-when has DST ever let us down??

I'm pretty ticked about this too. First they make us wait what feels like forever and then they completely take the wind out of our sails by making it impossible for a lot of people to get her. I live on the east coast. This really sux. Diamond seems to be shooting themselves in the foot with some of their decisions lately.

So, I get screwed by DST yet again. I live in the UK. As a Radical I am supposed to get a freebie, but so far bugger all. Now they decide to make this an SDCC exclusive which means having to pay top dollar on ebay. Cheers DST. So what have I got to be happy about Champion of Hotness. I do not whinge much but I am bloody pissed off about this. If any member of the Forum is going & can get me one I will send money any way you want to cover shipping charges as well as the cost of the figure plus a $10 bonus to stop me whingeing some more.

I just don't understand why they wouldn't eventually release this or put it in a boxset. They know that a LOT of people want it and that they would make a load of money with it. Demand is high, so why are they holding back? It doesn't make sense...

This is horrible news. This figure is too great to be that limited and a con-exclusive.
I didnt care to all about the Dark Witch Willow (and I dont know why anyone would be dumb enough to compare that Willow to this figure) but this is entirely different. Its a whole new figure...not just a teeny tiny minor repaint.
Oh well, I'm not too upset because my collection stopped being complete when a certain bitch had an exclusive Tara figure made and charged people $120 for it.
Its so annoying, cause this was the Darla figure I wanted most.

I think people are comparing it to SDCC Willow because, well, she was SDCC Willow- an exclusive from the same con. And technically it is sort of a repaint, just wth a new face sculpt. I really want this figure, too, and I'm kind of annoyed I'll have to do a little more work to get her than I would for a normal figure. But really, at this point, other than a box set (and I think DST already said they weren't doing one for the Spike/Darla wave) a con exclusive is just about the only way they could release this figure at all. Personally I'd just have made Vamp schoolgirl Darla the chase figure for the Spike/Darla wave. But that's me. I really do feel sorry for the UK folks, though- You guys just seem to have a harder time than the rest of us getting ahold of this stuff sometimes. Maybe one of the UK stores will manage to get some? Forbidden Planet, maybe?

I wish they wouldn't call her 'Welcome to the Hellmouth Darla' and rather 'Angel Darla' since thats the episode the red and guns really comes from...
Cool looking figure, I doubt I'll get it but very cool.

Awww... I want one too!
Hey, don't forget about us Canadians too! We're screwed in that regard too! (Comic Con exclusives). I wish OUR con had an exclusive....yeah right!!! hahhh.

For those that want this figure, I'm glad that it is finally being released. I'm am also dissappointed that DST decided to release it as a con exclusive. I really wasn't impressed with this "Vamp" Darla, but I would have bought one had it been a regular release or even a chase figure. Now the only way that I would consider getting one, is if I happen to find her on Ebay at a real reasonable price...Cheap !

So, would you rather her be released this way, or never be released? Never.

So, would you rather her be released this way, or never be released? I'd rather see DST release her in a two pack with a repainted vamp Angel from Angel IV, than as a con exclusive. They could base the Angel figure on his appearance from the Buffy episode "Angel." For a con exclusive, as much as I even hate the idea, they should have just made a Lorne in a different colored suit. Like that yellow suit he had, then I wouldn't want him!

Oh c'mon now guys! You all know better than this. Do you honestly believe that this figure won't end up at the Buffy Collector Club or Time and Space Toys or My Pop Store, or Cinequest ... or any web store?! I really think that this figure will be easier to obtain than you all are making it out to be. DST knows that fans want these, so maybe the leftovers will end up on their site like the Spike PALz. I'm sure that all of you who really want this figure will be able to get it. - Andrew ... Then again I may be completely wrong and none of you will ever get one, and because of it your collection will never fully be complete ... who knows?!

Hehe, maybe But the thing is, at what price? $15 at SDCC, but maybe for $20 and up everywhere else that ends up with some to sell? That just wouldn't be right, especially considering that she was supposed to be part of the regular Angel II line. A regular figure (she's carded and with all accessories, I assume) shouldn't cost more than the regular price of $15, even if $20 is better than $50+ on ebay. I dunno, I'm not trying to be negative. Maybe I was just born that way. Maybe it's Maybelline

I'm with you, Andrew, and I really hope we're both right. Spike does have a point, though. These figures probably will turn up at online stores, but does anyone else remember some of them wanting, um, a LOT for things like World Tour Willow? I swear I saw her for $200 someplace. But I can't remember if she was a con exclusive, or something different that was harder to get ahold of.

I still like the figure but my interest has gone down a bit since it was first announced. Now that I know she's going to be a con exclusive, I doubt I'll get her. Too bad.

I think the vamp sculpt for Darla has always been off so I wasn't planning on getting it. It is just a repaint/headswap of WTTH and Reunion Darla so it's a bit redundant to display since I already have both of those. I'm definitely not concerned with having trouble getting one. If I find one for $15, or if DST sends them out for free, I'll gladly take her! Otherwise, I already have some great Darlas that I like more.

I really like the figure but I have lost interest. Had this been a month ago I would be screaming from the roof tops, but I'm not now. I think Diamond's attempt to tease us and keep our appetites wetted has backfired on them. But if I see it for a good price then I'll buy it. Too bad it doesn't excite me anymore.
