Hey!!! i cant wait till wednesday!!! im so psyched! its also my moms birthday and the release day of these beauties!!
I just have a question about NPLPG Lorne. His head comes off, and it stays on, but is it going to stay on? or is it going to be constantly falling off? I really wanna get him because he is the flashy lorne that is remembered, adn the other one is sorta dull. But if i get him, i dont want to have to worry about his head always falling off...
If anyone has any input on this situation let me know! thanks!!

I bet some will stay on fine and some will be very loose. Like the deluxe figures for instance, some are fine, some are very loose, and some are very tight. I bet this could happen with NPLPG Lorne. I'm hoping it wont but it probably will.

i love the magnet idea! I'd love to see something like this done with a Buffy-Bot from the Gift

Magnets work alright. I am also a collector of Star Wars figures, and I have a figure with a magnetic head. On display, he's fine, the head never falls off for no reason, but when I "played" with the figure, the head fell off every second. So I guess it depends on what you plan to do with it.

Palisades uses' magents to keep Muppets heads on, and I've never had a problem with any of them.

Will Lorne still have articlation where the head meets the neck stump?
Eg, will the head still be ball-jointed, with the lower part of the neck also being removeable from the body, or will the only articulation in the head/neck be the joint from which the head can be removed?
Cheers, Haeph.

I think there is a long piece at the bottom of the head, which fits into the neck. This will mean it will stay on better than the like of Jango Fett's head, but will probably lose forward and back articulation. But this is just what I can gather

Palisades uses' magents to keep Muppets heads on, and I've never had a problem with any of them. Actually, they use it to keep Muppet hats on, not Muppet heads. Which are easy to knock off in rough play, but which otherwise are quite excellent at keeping things in place and doing so very discreetly.

Is anyone who already has this figure going to tell us how well the head does?

I was able to buy NPLPG Lorne at Comic-Con. I am unsure how his head is supposed to stay on. His head does not feature magnets. My Lorne's head has a post in his neck that looks like it might have been designed to hold the head in place, and if this is indeed how it is supposed to be, mine is broken out of the package.
Since I don't have another to compare it to, and I can't find any pictures online, I'm not sure if it's supposed to be this way or not.

I got one at Comic Con too. There is a short white tube that sticks into the neck and into the head. It is not magnetized at all.
The tube comes out completely, but you can put it back into the neck and then put the head on the neck.
The head faces downward too much, IMO. You can make it look up a little bit by pulling it up, but it sometimes comes off of the neck. and, of course, you can see the big gap in the neck.
What is very cool is that if you take the head off of the neck and take the tube out to get the severed head affect, the open wounds are painted to look like blood and all that. His head looks really authentic in the basket. It's cool on the silver platter too!
The neck issue seems fine. The only problem with him is the skin color is too light and bright green.
I love his suit, the colors, the detail. He's an awesome picture. His spectator shoes rock.

Thanks, Girl Power. I was afraid that mine is broken, and it is. I wonder if I could repair it somehow...
