Is anyone else having this problem with their Schoolgirl Darla (it happens with my regular Anya as well). Darla keeps bending forward at the ankles and, if you look at her from the side, she's bent over at about a 60 degree angle. I can rebend her ankle back but in a week or two she'll be back to this same position. Is there anything I can do to prevent this?

Yes I had exactly the same problem! What's wrong is the leg articulation (you can see it if you look up her skirt ). You have to twist the legs back to the way they are in the packaging (see the offical studio pictures of the figure or the packaged ones). And If you experiment around a bit she should stand perfectly again.

My Anya and Darla are both having that problem so I took both off of display. I will have to try the moving the legs trick when I get home today.

I don't think Anya has leg articulation under the skirt...

I don't have this problem with Anya, but I do with Anyanka.... She tilts forward and sort of to the right.
When my School Girl Darla arrives, I'll see if she also has this trouble.

My Anyanka does that, too. I thought it was a weight issue, so I put her hammer in her left hand, but it isn't helping. Is there anything I can do to fix this? Don't know if it matters or not, but it's the Anyanka from the Vengence boxset (maybe she was made of a different kind of plastic?) RK

It's the ankles. They're the thinnest part of the legs and when they are tied into their packaging at an odd angle, especially coming off an assembly line, the parts are mashed into that position for a while until you open them so the plastic tends to hold to that pose. Best way to fix them is to just hold the feet in some hot water until the plastic is rubbery, pose it how you need it and hold it until its cool or pour cold water over it.

RK Exact same thing for my Anyanka from the Vengence set, the carded one stants up fine, but the boxset...so you are not alone.

Flobbo's 100% on the mark here everyone. I had this problem myself, but I just held the legs in hot water til they were movable, repositioned them so that she would stand straight, then let her cool. I haven't had another problem since then.

I've just never done quick fixes with figures and don't want to even have defects that will keep bothering me even if they're tiny, lol.

As long as you watch them they'll be fine. The y key is to heat the water first, to just boiling, then put the figure for no more than 2:30. you could even take it out at 2:00 minutes to make sure it's alright. then try the bendies. The place I have paint troubles is on the faces when I leave the figures in for more than 2:30.

I'll have to try boiling Anya's feet. My Anyanka and OMWF Anya's are fine. Its just the regular issue Anya that I'm having a problem with. Also, positioning Darla's legs correctly did the trick for her. Thanks.

My Anyanka from the BoxSet Does the same exact thing. I folded a little piece of paper and put it under her foot and it works, plus you can't see it. I would try boiling but with my luck I would mess up something.
