I don't remember if it was at Toy Fair 2004 but I'm almost sure it was in it that the Tara figure was shown for the first time along with S5 Anya (the exclusives hadn't been shown yet) on a cemetary/crypt styled display by DST. I remember they didn't let anyone take pics of it because it was Moore's idea on what the figure would look like (it was a different paint scheme I think) and was nothing like what the figure actually turned out, the thing is that I remember one site DID took one and posted it on their site, that pic was later censored but some of you may have saved it when it still wasn't. If anyone knows of what pic I'm talking about and have it, Can you post it please?

Galactic Hunter was the site. These are the pics currently up there, but I do not still have a copy of the first one showing the Tara figure. Anyone else still have one?

Tara looks exactly the same as the final result, i think you mean about the promotional pics of season six, which could be the real colors of the sculpt for Moore.

Tara looks exactly the same as the final result Actually the background blue of the dress is much lighter on the final product and the pattern on the dress appears to be a bit different.

The light blue part of the dress on the produced version is black in this version.

Weeeee! Those were the pics I was looking for, thanks so much JD and The Second Evil! I don't think Tara looks the same btw, the paint on her dress is all different.

Her dress is different, not sure which one is better but I do like the one that we got with the lighter colors on her dress. That tomb is really cool. That would be awesome to display all of the figures around.

I hope that all those protos are released. Sorry to DST, but I still prefer MAC's Wesley and Lorne. They have much more character than DST's, which seem kinda flat. I think it's cos' MAC focused on the sculpt, then gave them articulation, and DST articulatle from the get go. I'm sure DST's figures will become more energetic looking soon.

I gotta disagree on the MAC Wesley's being better, but the MAC Lorne had so much more flare and attitude than DSTs !! You are so right on that one Moe!!
