I really don't see how this is any different than the World Tour Willow's or SDCC Dark Willow. They are super rare figures that to buy one you have to pay big money on ebay. The only reason I have a WT Willow is because DST sent me one for free. This Tara is super rare so it costs big money.

That price tag is very pricey. Although weighing up that it is signed, with a personal meesage - that can sell up to for $50 a photo alone. When you break it down like that $75 for a limited & very exclusive figure doesn't seem so much of a rip off. It is very clever marketing by Amber Benson though. I do not hold DST responsible as I appreciate they do not hold the license for it's sale. Now to the figure itself - I was a tad miffed that this figure was a repaint of the figure which already has 3 repaints, but have to admit the photos of it have made it one of my favourite Tara figures. I never imagined it would carry a $125 & p&p price tag, and as such it is completely out of my price range. I mean, for god's sake I have been trying to buy WTW from Ebay but that goes for too much, and I haven't even bothered trying to get Villians Willow as that goes for too much aswell - especially when I add shipping to the uk on top of that. I have decided to get a WOS case of cards to chase the Tara pre production figure though, but my collection is still now going to be 3 figures short - WTW/Villians Willow & now Triangle Tara. Bummer !! To counter act my frustration at the fact that I cannot get Amber's new figure, I have decided there are many reasons why my collection will not miss this edition (yeah right !! : . They are lame excusses, but I have to have some otherwise I will go bonkers at DST . 1. Triangle Tara appears to be a last minute repaint, and as such the thought behind it's accuracy may be lacking. 2. It doesn't match the episode for various reasons : The hair style is wrong. Tara has it gripped to the right, the figure does not. The skirt is the wrong colour. It should match the moss effect on the jacket, and have a bright green triangular splash at the hem. Tara is wearing a pretty, shell like necklace. The figure doesn't. The tshirt has pink in the center of the design. The figure doesn't. I think that she will have brown hair, like in season 5. Also I wonder if she will come with Olafs hammer as an accessory ? Finally, if the packaging is being signed I cannot justify $125 on a figure that I will open to display. Never mind, maybe DST will come up with something to keep us collectors happy

if you think about it this figure is mostly pointed towards people who are like millionaires and really serious collectors lol
i like the figure and i cant afford that price but im not paying out £100 on one figure when i could prob get more than one figure for that price, im not a big amber fan and ive never met her but at least she does a brill job as an actress.

I love it. However I also love Corvettes, and you won't see my driving one of those. (At least not any time soon.)

It's an amazing re-paint, but this is pretty ridiculous. Now if the money was for a charity then that would be a different story, but this is just for her to make a movie. Can't she just show the script around movie studios and try to get it made that way? Personally I can't believe Amber would do something like this. It seems greedy and feels like she is taking advantage of the fans. I know people have paid this much for exclusive figures, but that was on a secondary market. To ask that much for a figure that only cost dollar or two to make is pretty sad. Amber, you probably had good intentions, but asking fans to pay for your movie is pretty rude.

i can't believe every one likes it. am I the only one who thinks the other three are much better I really like it...but Hush Tara is my fav. The other two are kinda bad IMO...but I know what you feel. I think I'm one of the only people who just can't stand the Darla's (and some of the Spikes)

I about choked when I saw that price tag. But - for those of you that can afford it, why not? If I didn't have bills (car payments, food, etc...) that are a lot more important than a toy, I would get it. Sucks having to be a responsible adult. Ah well.

I wish I had $125 to support Amber - - I've already preordered her other 3 figures. I was so excited when I saw the little photo the other day.

I'm not going to get it (I'm opting for sanity instead), but I'd love to get one and have the personal message read: "I am ripping you off. - Amber"

this is the dumbest idea I've ever heard. This is probably my favorite of the Tara's and I won't get it because there's no way it's worth $125! What on god's earth would make anyone wanna pay that. Amber Benson isn't Sarah Michelle Gellar, so why the high price tag? (wackos are gonna argue on how much SMG's autograph is) If it was signed by Sarah, sure I'd pay that (only cause I'm obsessed)! She looks REAALLLYYY COOL! But yes, it is a major bummer that Amber's feelin greedy. I bet they'll release it later without any autograph or personalized message for a lot cheaper. Go ahead and say they won't all you want, but I really think they will eventually.

$125 is a bit to much. I mean, if they actually sent you a copy of her first movie or including something else than just a signature. I'd rather have the figure, an autographed picture and a Chance DVD for that price. I really like this figure, it's just so much for one figure. You can normally get at least 8 figures for that price. I don't know if I"ll get this figure. They should offer you the chance to buy it without a signature for somewhere around $40 to $50 to support the movie. If we support her, does that mean that the movie will be cheaper, like around $20. I mean Chance was what like $55. That is a lot of money for a movie.

Goodness, that's a lot of cash! I love Tara and Amber but I don't think I can afford this figure because I've already set a aside enough money to pay for the other figures (and added up they do cost a pretty penny). It's a shame that this figure is so far out of reach because I do want to buy it but I just shouldn't because 125 is too much to spend on a 6 inch action figure.

I think they will, too. It might be months or maybe even a year. But I would rather wait that long, then pay that much now. I haven't even seen Chance.

Sorry, I'm usually nice when it comes to Buffy figures, but....I don't think even MAC could make this idiotic a decision. Make it available somewhere else unsigned- fine. Have the figure get an exclusive accesory or minor repaint-fine. But a total repaint?! That's just SO ironic...we're give friggin repaints as exclusives, so how can they NOT expect everyone to want one? In any other case maybe that would be okay, but c'mon...it's just so hypocritical. And please, all you peeps with the connections to the companies...don't try and justify it. You're all very cool, but really, this is just stupid.
This SUCKS.
