Hey I noticed today that all the Willow figures have been removed from the DST store? Whats that about? Do you think maybe they are about to add Anya & Tara?

Yeah, I noticed that earlier too. They most likely didn't sell out and I don't see why they couldn't just add the Anya and Tara's to the Willow's.

I was thinking Diamond could contact 20th Century Fox and see if they would be interested in bundling any unsold Willow figures with future Angel/Buffy DVD releases. They could do the same with Buffy video game developers. These figures don't have to be resculpts or repaints, just left over stock that didn't sell out.
The bundled figure/DVD sets would be available wherever DVDs are sold. Can you imagine the exposure this line would get if these figures were available in big-box retailers like Wal-Mart or Target? Many retailers may not be willing to carry the line separately, but bundling them with DVDs or games is better than nothing.
I'm sure there are a lot of fans out there who may not collect figures that are unaware Buffy figures are being made (or again). Those fans could see the figures when they buy the DVDs and then - they'd be hooked on this plastic crack like the rest of us.

The only downside is that the price of the DVDs would raise slightly, but that's not really unexpected. It would be a good, beneficial alliance between the 2 companies. They did do it with the cards, so why not go a little further. But the fact that there even are any unsold figures doesn't sound good for future lines.

They may have sent their extra stock to stores. With Willow selling so well in stores, with many places sold out, why not send more? Transformation and Doppelgangland have been sold out for a long time.
Had Vamp and Dark Willow sold out? Those just might go to ToyFare and Cinequest.

The only one that had sold out (last I checked) was White Witch Willow.
In Chicago, DST sold out of everything except Regular and Doppelgangland. They may have simply sold their remaining stock and only a had a limited number available for the website.
The Anya/Tara figures will not be on DST's site until they are actually ready to ship (Late Sept).

I just checked the DST site and the Willow’s are back. Maybe it was a glitch in their system that made them disappear for a day.
