sounds kinda like a rip off. Im hoping Diamond will be offering Chase Tara like MAC was gonna with Transformation, but then transformation was packed 2 per box and wasnt a chase. Or else Ill jsut be at Media Play on tuesday when the girls come out.

I dont think it is a "rip off", I do think it is a little unfair to have to buy in stock only items (but I do see the point)...for me anyway since I really only collect Angel & Buffy action figures, but then again if I would not have already bought Spkie, Angel & buffy 12" then I would be able to get chase Tara too late now. So I think its a pretty cool idea..hey anything free for spending $$ is OK in my book. I will most likely go to the toy depot. or hopefully the dst store will have her to order.

Is there any reason to think this figure will be harder to get than any of the other chase figures? Most online stores offer preorders, right? (Pardon my ignorance, but my pre-ordering just started with the Willow figures.)

This figure should be twice as limited as the Transformation Willow. Don't think that you HAVE to pre-order it right now. Other stores have it, and the DST store may have it also. I'd wait a little while yet.

Will Cinequest be getting this one? $99 is too way too much & I already have Tara and Anya preordered so Toy Depot isn't an option. As for the DST store, I'll believe it when I see it.
I wish they wouldn't make collecting these so frikkin difficult.

Sure, I can get them all on ebay for a little cheaper (as I anticipated doing), but if I order through T&ST, I can get a figure absolutely free! Choices, choices... |

I would have definatly done it. I think it would be well worth it. I decided to do it, and even though Buffy's on back-order, it still counts as in-stock. So a free Tara will be headed my way! BTW, you also get a one cent discount by entering the coupon code, if that makes a difference for anyone. So this month, I will be receiving from T&ST: Sideshow Buffy Sideshow Angel Sideshow Spike Season 5 Willow Willow's Spellbook On a funny note, I e-mailed T&ST about the back-order/in-stock and he replied only 15 minutes later! This was 11:30 at night! Now that's costumer service! |

Another option for the variant tara figure i just found out about. killertoys.com has it up for pre order for $16.95. I went a head an pre ordered one. I have dealt with killertoys before and never had any problems. They are an awesome online dealer.
