frigging awesome episode.
After the first 3 episodes of season4 in my eyes not being that great this one really picked it up and entertained from start to finish.
I just love everything about it, from lornette fred/angels comments about his past/the mystery of why lorne is ignoring them/the plot with the chips stealing peoples future.
genius.
10/10

This is one of my all-time favorite Angel episodes. Incredibly well written. It's so different from the rest of the season (which is great because season 4 wasn't exactly my favorite season at all). I love the whole Lorne storyline, the mislead in the beginning is great. Plus Lorne singing? How can you go wrong with that?

It was a very nice episode the first time around but the final resolution was pretty weak (Cordy restoring Angel no just by her voice).
The story was developed nicely, starting as a simply road trip to Las Vegas and disappointment by Lorne's celebrity behavior and developed into a very cool conspiracy.
If the episode was resolved in a better way; like Angel finding his strength on his own, or Cordy's actual interference (by giving Angel new destiny) would make this a far better episode, for me.
8.5/10.
