hey all, i have an idea of how to sort out the advertising in the custom section, which i no im guilty of ive pm'ed msbig and cmk1887, but id thought id see what you guys thought i think its a pretty good idea, in the Custom Section, Maybe a new thread can be made and stickied named "CUSTOMS FOR SALE", people can post the figures in the normal customs thread and when they are avalible for sale, list them in this new folder, that way, anyone will be able to see what figures are for sale without going through pages and pages. when the auction/sale is completed, the person can delete their "advert". i think this is a much more sensible way of doing things, let me know what you think -wayne

I think that's a great idea. It stops us from getting really old threads permantantly bumped up to the top of the section.

Great Idea WW .
I agree with SE it would stop all the old posts bumping back up and it would seem easier for buyers . Just a click then you have all the For Sale Customs onscreen . Again great idea WillowsWarlock

I thought of that too but then dismissed the idea for 2 reasons.
1) CMK wants to keep the stickied threads to a minimum. He wasn't even too happy about stickying the monthly challenges. His point is that, if we have too many stickies, the normal threads will all end up on the second page.
2) We have already got an entire section called 'Buy/Sell/Trade'. That is where we sell stuff, including customs.
Many people are sick of those of us that advertise our sales in the 'Customs' thread and I can't blame them, if the sales tactics get too intense.
This is the policy:
You can post *once* to say that the item is on e-bay and only *once more* 1 day before the auction ends to bump up the thread.
This has already been discussed and agreed a few weeks ago so please stick with it.

And when she says post once, she means edit the post's title (the one showing the custom) to say it's for sale, don't create a new one.
