Hey, my name is Philip. I'm 19 years old, and I live in San Diego. I got into Buffy when it premiered in 1997, I think. And have been a fan ever since. I collect the figures, but I don't have too many of them. I only have the Ikons, Short-Haired Buffy on card, ToyFare Buffyx2, Angel 2, Cordelia(from Angel), Faith, Leather Jacket Faith, Short Hair Cordy, Slave Cordy, and Bunny Anya. I don't have the rest becuase I will not pay the high eBay prices, and becuase I don't really like alot of the others. I do have a few customs, as well as a couple props from the show (buffyauction.com). I have DVDs of Buffy Seasons 3-4. Plan on getting all of them. I don't have any Angel DVDs though. Hmm, I got my mom, and my cousin Chelsea into Buffy and also Angel. I have been watching Angel since it started too. I used to work at a grocery store called Vons, but they are on strike so I quit. Going to college, not sure what my major is yet. I was an AP Art student in H.S. I have a portfolio, and someday hope to go into character design for animated movies and television. I also recently got picked up by a talent agency for modeling. Not too sure about that though...it's something I never really thought sbout pursuing. Ok, that's all.

I'm Ben, I'm 22 and single. I got into Buffy and Angel about a year and a half ago, and only recently have I been stupid enough to try and collect the figures. I have IKON Buffy and Spike, Giles, the Master, and Slave Cordelia. I'm looking for pretty much every other figure at this point, and I'm a little preturbed at prices for Vampire Spike figures.
I collect other lines, but I'm getting pretty tired of them lately. Namely Star Wars and Lord of the Rings--the lines are simply too big.
I love this smiley almost as much as I love Guinness: ;D
Edit: Forgot to mention my undying attraction to Amber Benson. Hoooo.

soooooooooooooo...
My name is Justin, as in JusticeDemon's Justin. I'm 22 and have a strange history. I went to school for costume design for a few years before deciding that I did not want to work with actor's professionally, so I graduated with a BA in French Literature. I am now back in school to get my teaching license for French and Theatre. I had watched Buffy twice before being shown a tape of "Once More With Feeling..." and both times it was "Puppet Show" (how weird is that?). Then during January of 2002, I downloaded and watched EVERY episode of Buffy to catch up. Since then I have been a devoted fan of the show... and later of Angel and Firefly.

In the immortal words of Dr. Nick Riviera... Hi Everybody! My name is Jenn. I'm newly registered to the forums (been lurking for a couple of weeks). I'm a Canadian gal from Windsor, Ontario (just across the river from Detroit Michigan), age 33. Married for 2 1/2 years, no human children, but we have 5 (!) furry feline kids: Howie, Winston, Tweek, Chico & Doofus. I've been a Buffy fan since the original movie (yes, I just admitted that!) & have watched both Buffy and ATS from their respective beginnings. Came for the Angel, got hooked on the Giles & Lindsey, stayed for the Spike... Right now, I've got about a dozen figures in my collection, with a wish list as long as my arm. Thankfully my hubby is patient, and can't really complain since he's got all that Star Trek stuff, dontcha know. Glad to be here & hope to stay a while!

Hi, I'm Robert, long time fan and first time poster. My wife and I started watching Buffy loosely in the second season (the first show I caught was in the first season - the Puppet Show), and became fanatics after that. We are going to enjoy this last season of Angel, even if its too sad to talk about! Grrrr. I collect some other action figures, but didn't start with Buffy because "I didn't want to start another line". Sheesh! All I have now is a Cordy, but I want to get some of the upcoming figures. I had my eye on the second wave of Angel figures listed at Entertainment Earth last year, so hopefully they will put them back up this year. I've been lurking a bit and love seeing pictures of everyone's displays. So jealous! I'm glad I found this very active forum to see what's up.

I've been quietly hanging around for months and months, so I figured it was time for formal introductions. My name's Anna, I'm 27 and live in New Zealand. I've been watching buffy since season 2 started here, but then they stopped it half way through season 3, only to make us wait about a year before showing the rest of the season in a marathon all night showing - then the other series were moved around to weird times, kept changing channels and was hard to keep track of. (nothing worse than thinking your are taping the latest Buffy, only to find the next day that they played cricket or tennis intead). I started collecting all things Buffy about 3 years ago, but now I'm trying to only collect the figures (and maybe some of the books..) Basically because it's getting expensive, and I'm kinda sorta possibly looking at buying a house (I need more space for my collection ) So I need to save my $$. Other than buffy, I'm in to music. I've got more CDs than most normal people, and my other hobby is trading live CDs. I also suffer from a bit of RSI or OOS or whatever you'd like to call it. So I have to be careful of the time I spend at a computer (and for an IT professional, that means cutting back home use ). Yep, spending hours at a playstation, typing uni assignments and then working with computers was too much for my poor old arm...

My quasi-support-group introduction/admission of addiction:
I'm Rachel. I'm 21 and about six seconds away from graduating from college, which is definitely the big scary right now. In lieu of a senior thesis paper last semester a few friends and I filmed a scene from the spoof we wrote of OMWF. Not a traditional idea of real-world readiness, but...
My now-roommate converted me to Buffy two years ago. S6 probably wasn't the best place to start watching Buffy 'cause it's given me all these really warped first impressions of the characters, but I've since gone back and seen everything else.
I probably like making dorky comics with my action figures too much. I know I spend too much time making Buffy music vidoes and writing fic. And I've definitely spent excessive amounts of time reading this forum over the past week. It's great. :D

Definitely! Do you have your vids up online anywhere? I'm always looking for new ones to see. Also, something to try sometime -- turn the sound all the way down on a video and play a different song to it. It can be *hilarious*. (I usually play the vid in Windows Media Player with the little volume thing pulled all the way down, then play the song through Winamp.)

Nope, I really want to get a site but it would cost too much since videos take up so much space. Maybe some day I'll put them up on a site but for now I think I'm just going to try and perfect them, I only have one GREAT video that I absolutely want to put out there. Never thought thought of that, I'll definately try it sometime! If you're in desperate need of clips you can go to www.impisheyes.com and then to "Your Clips", they take requests but there hasn't been any updates in quite awhile. Where would you normally find clips?

Where would you normally find clips? Actually between myself and the friend I do vids with we have almost all of the episodes in avi or mpg format, so I make my clips out of whole episodes. On putting vids up online -- I know what you mean about the cost, and it's so hard to find a good free service that offers enough space/bandwidth for them. Right now a few of mine are linked from www.bluecanary.o-f.com/ but I'm not sure if any of the links are still good. If you have AIM and want to swap vids some time, let me know! Same with eps, though my connection is sometimes screwy and slow. Always worth a shot.
