*Im Amanda - Im 28 ( and feeling rather old considering Flobbo is 15 !) *I only collect Buffy & Angel figures, a hobby that started early 2002 when I found out from Ebay they were available. Ive since spent a fortune, and about 15 months trying to track down the ones Im missing which has been so much fun. Red Pants Willow is the only one to have eluded me so far ! *Im married with twin 3 year old boys and realise I dont fit the usual action figure collector stereotype ! *I like to shop, then shop some more and like catching up with girlfriends although they always question my internet addiction, and action figure collecting as they think Im strange ! *The End

I'm Matt. a 22 year old Customer Service Rep for a Dental Insurance company.
I got my first Buffy figure from Another Universe (the Red Pants Willow, Ha Ha Addicted!) and I started collecting all of the other ones a few years later.
I'm engaged to my boyfriend of 2 years, Justin, and we have two cats named Gracie and Greebo (Terry Pratchett reference).
I don't collect any other toy lines, but I am trying to make sure my 5 year old brother gets all of the new He-Man figure he wants (damn collectors).
Aside from that, I see a LOT of movies (my mom is the manager so I get in for free) and Justin and I have about 400 DVD's (most of them are his) organized by color (don't ask).

Hello all! I'm Russell Erik, I'm 15, and I like to sing, act, perform, make videos, and customize! I started watching Buffy in 2001 when the season six premiere was one, and I started collecting the action figures that December. I'd like to say I've got them all, but I really, really don't. But I'm getting red pants Willow soon!

I'm Ryan, could you tell? Well my real name is actually Ryanemalonemic. I'm 25, but I feel like I'm still 18 (and look it, too). I work overnites (10pm to 7am) at Wal-Mart (yay... not), I live a real vampire's life I work in the toy department now though. I first got into Buffy, like Russ, just before season 6 started. FX was airing seasons 1-5, twice a day, five days a week, and I got addicted ;D Watched bits and pieces of season 6, but didn't get addicted until mid-season. It was about that time (Feb. 2002) that I bought my first Buffy figures, at the FX toy show / convention in Orlando. I got the 12" Buffy figure and regular Oz... I wasn't planning on collecting the whole series, but that changed in time. Now I have all the normal figures, and doubles of most of the figures (opened / MOC). Not to forget the small army of Buffy & Angel figures I have bought for customizing... Can you also tell that I tend to be long-winded? lol my co-workers can't stand it sometimes *Finally got a Green Shirt Spike!

I got involved quite like Russ and Ryan. The first new episode I saw was Once More with Feeling and I was hooked! Then I caught up with the FX reruns and I'm hoping to do the same with Angel as soon as it goes into syndication on tnt

Flobbo, if you can afford to, get the Angel season 1 DVD set. I first got into Angel mid-season 3, and loved it. I bought the season 1 box set, not knowing what to expect. Season 1 beats the ass of seasons 3 and 4! Doyle... Cordelia... Wesley... Faith's redemption... Kate... Wolfram & Hart's introduction... the Exorcist-like episode (I've got you under my skin)... Darla's return! Some great stuff there. It started out with a bang, and from what I'm told, season 2 was great too but took a dive towards the end. I haven't seen any of season 2, so I have no comment on it. If you can't buy the season 1 DVD set, try to rent it or watch someone else's set! I am assuming you haven't seen Angel season 1.... hehe

Wow. I have a lot in common with lots of you. I also got into Buffy in season 6 and caught up watching FX reruns. Then I started watching Angel season 3 and got hooked on that. I've only been collecting the action figures for about 9 or 10 months, so I'm missing a lot of them. I'm having lots of fun customizing them, though. I'm 25, but lots of people tend to think I'm 16. (I've been carded at the movie theater!) Maybe if I didn't collect action figures people would think I was older... heehee. I'm married, but I don't have any kids. I like to read sci-fi and fantasy, and my husband is a computer programmer. We're a big geek couple. ;D Oh, and as you can see in my sig, my name's Janette.

Hi. I'm Matt,(formerly mwp72 on the MAC forum) I'm 30 years old, married with no kids, and I'm currently in the police academy.
I've collected action figures my whole life. I'm currently collecting Movie Maniacs and I WAS collecting Angel and Buffy figures until MAC decided to get stupid.
I wasn't always into Buffy. I watched the movie after it came out on video and turned it off halfway through it, because I thought it was horrible. When the t.v. series came out, I didn't plan on watching it. I finally did, about midway through the first season, when my friend told me about it and how good it was. Ever since then, I've been a Buffy fiend. I collect the figures, comics, statues, you name it.
I'm glad people like you all are around, because I don't know many people who are into Buffy, collecting figures, or both. Thanks to Flobbo and whoever else had a hand in getting this board up and running. It was very much appreciated.

I'm Michelle. I'm really old. Although, I'm slightly younger than Charisma Carpenter, which makes me feel better to say that.
I live in the Toronto area.
I'm a graphic designer for an ad agency. Sounds pretty good, but it's equally boring and stressful.
I searching for an agent for the young adult trilogy I've written. One day I hope to be famous. Or rich. Rich is better.

The name's Clarence, I'm 14. I live in Quincy MA which is outside of Boston. I like to customize, though at times it gets really tedious. I'm going into highschool come September, so that's a plus (Or maybe a minus, not really sure yet, but am still excited.) I really like writing fanfiction and am told I'm good at it. I like to write Buffy fanfiction as well as Smallville. I hope to become a screen writer or a novelist, whichever, or hey maybe both.

My name's Jeff. I've been watching Buffy since day one in 1997 when it premiered. I followed it ever since (through a move to California & a couple of bad relationships). I'm 30 (look 25), originally from Florida, but now live in Seattle, WA. I worked part-time as a fitness trainer, and am now working in student financial services at a college. I've been collecting Buffy figures ever since 1999 when my employees at the store I was managing at the time bought me the series one 4-pack for Christmas. I have them all (except the T-1? things and the IKONs) and they sit on six glass shelves I put up in my apartment. I even put up an extra shelf a head of time to accomodate the additional 17, but look how well that worked out! Anyway, thanks for listening!

I'm Adam, I'm 19, and from Johnstown, Pennsylvania. I am currently unemployed and in need of a job badly, too bad the economy here sucks. I currently don't go to college, but that may or may not change depending if I actually realize I have a place in this world. I'm single and probably will be for quite some time. Love doesnt feature too brightly in my future. I started collecting action figures back in 1993 with the first line of Jurassic Park figures. Over the years I have come to collect various other lines such as Star Wars, Austin Powers, and of course the Buffy/Angel figures. I also have a few other figures from miscellaneous movies/lines. I also like to draw, and I have several folders worth of sketches, most of them dinosaurs and what can best be described as 'demon creatures' that would probably fit well in buffyverse, although most of my stuff was drawn before I even began to watch Buffy. I started watching Buffy back in June/July of 2002, when I would babysit for my sister on the weekends, it would come on a local station here late at night. The first few episodes I saw were Graduation Day, The one with Glory's snake monster. I started watching religiously back in sept 2002 when I caught FX showing them from the beginning. Around november I found they made Buffy figures, so of course I needed to buy them. I have most of them now but am missing only the more expensive ones like vamp Spike and Prom Buffy. I have a website about my collection which can be seen here: www.dansjp3page.com/hosting/SiteC/although it is in total disorganization and lackign updates because im just too lazy/not caring enough to update it. eventually I will get pics of my collections up on it. I am working on a room to house my collection and as soon as its done it will be piccie time. As for the buffy archive I was planning, i might as well throw that one out the window since MAC canned everything. Anyway, yeah, thas me, boring ole me.

Hi I'm Cary am 31 and live in Florida with my wife Rachael and a Boston Terrier named Shelly. I work at Office Depot and have been a collector since 1986. I started with collecting Gumby memorabilia and Pez. Since some friends took me to the FX show in Orlando I have been hooked on action figures. I collect Buffy, Movie Maniacs, Sideshow's Universal Monsters and random stuff like Cheech and Chong and King of the Hill. I am a rip it out of the package collector. All of my figures are displayed on shelves. I am so looking forward to what is happening in the action figure world right now. I hear there might be a Tall Man Phantasm Figure. Well it is nice to get to know all of you.

My name is Sarah. I am 19 and i live in South Florida. I just started collecting Buffy & Angel action figures last October, and I have every single figure that has been released up to date and then some. ( I also have the preproduction original Angel from Buffy 1 and the Prophecy Girl proto, hehe). Plus I have many beautiful customs!! I LOVE watching Buffy and Angel, its such a picker-upper when I have had a bad day. I am really hoping we can all ban together and get more figures. SOTA looks like they are going to be very willing if the emails keep flowing into them. Keep it up guys!!

I'm Doug. I'm Canadian, 33 years old, and single. I've been collecting Star Wars stuff since I was a kid - and it all started with the toys. Today I still have the original vintage stuff, plus I've been collecting new stuff too.
The first Buffy episode I remember seeing was the one with the invisible girl. I was hooked. When my roommate bought me the Buffy figure as a gift, I was hooked on collecting the action figures too.
After seeing Season 1 and 2 on DVD, the idea came to me of doing some customizing. I'd been customizing action figures for a few years - mainly the 3" and 12" Star Wars figs. Doing some research for ideas, I came upon the MAC forum - this was just a month or so ago. My first Buffy custom was Buffy with her hair put up. I think it was pretty successful. I've since done a few more - including 2 for someone I met on the MAC forum. Now that MAC seems to have shut down, I have plans to make a few more - like Tara and Anya!
In addition to Star Wars and Buffy, I also enjoy the Harry Potter books and films and Lord of the Rings. Favourite TV shows include Buffy, Angel, Will & Grace, Friends, Queer As Folk, Oz, and Sex & the City.
