All the movie figs are in scale with eachother so far. Except for Bruce Banner sadly. Oh, I was only talking about the X-men. I forgot about Bruce.

By the way is anyone else worried how Jean/Phoenix is going to end up looking, I went to action-figure.com and looked at their NYCC 2007 photos of marvel legends and Hasbro had the badly painted prototypes on display and I just don't see why they would show those unless their the ones were getting considering the release date is so close now.

The variant is shit. The other one isnt so bad. She will fit in fine with the movie figures we've got so far...but to be honest, I didnt pay too much attention to her because I was literally drooling over Colossus...

Who is Rachel?

Rachel looks totally awesome. I'm am so going to pick her up, I mean she has so much character and personality for a figure Artistix, I am so envious of your X2 Iceman, figures my favorite would be the hardest to get....I would so sell my soul for one ;D Phoenix is looking more awesome, but blobs arm looks kind of gross

Why ARE the X2 figures so darned expensive. I too was inspired by these photos and the X2 core figures are great, but they don't come for less than $20-30!

If Hasbro has all of Toy Biz's molds, maybe we will see more re-releases of figures like X2 Iceman. Hasbro did release some of the movie Spider-Man figures in box sets. (And I missed out on the SM2 set, dammit. I want a super-posable Doc Ock.)

Its because the first line of Movie Figs didn't do so well, so you can say ToyBiz really lacked when it came to X2. Don't get me wrong, I mean the quality of the X2 figs wen't way up, but the distribution totally sucked. Bobby/Iceman was not only Shortpacked but the second part of the line didn't make it to half of retailers. You can find X-suit Wolvie, Cyclops with Blaster, Nightcrawler, and Civilian Wolverine with Wolves more easily and cheaper than the second part (which had Iceman, Trenchcoat Cyclops, New Magneto, and the Tank Top Wolverine) Its a shame, since the second part had the best figures. And we didn't even get a Lady Deathstrike I would like to think the rereleasing would happen, but I highly doubt its possibility. Especially since the X3 figs are going out via Marvel Legends.

Speaking of Toy Biz, today I found a bunch of X-Men Classics on clearance at KB Toys for $5 each. I picked up: Bird of Prey Angel Juggernaut Air Strike Wolverine Marvel Legends Showdown: Silver Surfer, Beast I got Wolvie partly because he and the Showdown figures brought my total over the $20 mark, which got me 10% off my purchase. I've only opened Angel and Juggernaut for now, but I can say that Angel (mine anyway) definitely has some quality control issues. Paint scraping right out of the package, loose shoulder joint, face messed up in the molding process (lines formed because the plastic wasn't cohesive during molding -- makes him look like he has a scar on his face). This is one of the few Toy Biz figures I've gotten that is pretty bad. I can see why people would bash Toy Biz if this is the kind of toy they got whenever they bought something. Most of the figures I've bought were done nicely though.

Actually I ahve another question - is that your fantstic collection on trektoy I ws eyeing up yesterday? That it probably was. I collect heaps of stuff! ;D She looks ok....nothing like the amazing prototype was saw at first, but she will look great in the X-movie display. Pic: First proto followed by hand painted crud proto (not actual figure above) The Rachel Summers looks like a Street Fighter figure to me. She will be the only animae figure to date. But she does look kinda cool.

See this it whats driving me crazy about the Jean figure the first pic you have looks ok then you have the first prototype pic which looks great and then you have the crappy prototype pics of her and her crappier variant and at NYCC 2007 they had the crappy figures on display which makes me wonder why they are showing the crappy figures so close to the release unless this is what were getting. I hope and pray this figure comes out really good if not great or I will lose what faith I have for this company because so far their track record with this line isn't to great.

Series 2 in packagingI have got to admit, I had my doubts but Phoenix looks absolutely amazing. I have a feeling shes gonna be uber hard to get a hold of though. Especially since all the stores in my area ran out of Beast pretty fast/

Oh, wow! I was worried about Jean for a while there, but these look awesome. I still have my doubts about the variant, but that's okay, since tracking it down would be a serious pain. I'll probably have enough trouble just getting this... but Marvel Legends turn up at Target, Wal-Mart, places like that, right?

Yup, Target(or at least most of our targets, since half of them seem to lack when it comes to getting new toys : , Wal-mart, and Toys R Us. Or if you can't find her there, you can try the comic shop, though the price might be a little higher so I would use it as a last resort. If I see any I let you know where to find her.

Cool, thanks Insanity. These should at least be easier for us to track down than the Buffy figs, at least I hope so. Haha, you're right about some of the Targets, though. They MIGHT have series 1 by now...
