Not sure where to post this topic...but I found an intereting article about action figure production. Its pretty neat. www.usatoday.com/life/2001-08-08-actionfigure.htmClay is quoted in the article as well..talking about SMG and her 'issues' with her figures.

Awesome, thanks for the link! Wouldn't that be cool, going in there and getting a custom made figure of yourself... to scale with the Buffy and Lord of the Rings figures... Drusilla could really be my girlfriend then ;D

They actually sold this as an option in the neiman marcus holiday catalog. I think it was like $20,000 bucks or something to get a figure made of yourself. I suppose if you have that kind of money...it would be totally awesome.

Too funny... How cool would it be to have an action figure of yourself!!! Action Barb - that would be me (my real name… Barb that is). Whenever I was bored I could pose myself in a really exciting fight seen next to Buffy. Sure would make a regular nothing to do Monday night more exciting. The thought really amuses me somehow...

I just thought of a nifty Halloween costume! An action figure!
get an eyeliner pen thingie and draw in the joints around your neck, shoulders, biceps, elbows, wrists, thighs, mid thighs, knees and ankles and then pose yourself on someones porch or go up to someone and say, "Watch my mighty kicking action" and jerk your leg up and kick em, steal their candy and run!

Hehe that's a cool idea. Why didn't I think of that for Halloween... I have to buy a wig still, and I've already spent quite a bit on my costume (see Halloween thread)... all this money I've spent, when I could have just bought (or borrowed) some eyeliner ;D
