Hey Everyone. I still lurk here but unfortunately I don't really seem to have time to customise anymore. However, I've decided that now it is time to go ahead and try to make my own figures, not customs. So i decided to start with giving Willow the PF treatment. I didn't ever think I could do it but so far, I'm so happy! I can see her likeness already and its not even painted. I sculpted this head for a PF Dark Willow (which IS happening) but I wanted to test likeness before committing. I made a bust from Whats my Line. I plan to make a Willow bust for every season! I plan to produce them in very small quantities, rather than OOAK. What you see her is a cast of my sculpt being used on the bust. Id love to know what you all think, plenty more to come. I hope to paint this very soon Thanks Wayne PS. So psyched to be working on Buffy stuff again!

Very awesome preproduction work you got there. I see Willow coming through alot. Some MAC and Sideshow inspiration as it reminds me of the action figures.
It's great that you are making these from from nothing. Takes years to build up those skills.
Can't wait to see the finished product.

It's so great to see you back on the forum, Wayne! I'm dying to see all your work this coming year. I'm going to give one piece of constructive criticism, because I think that's why you posted here before painting, and you're a skilled professional who can take it! Her nose should be more aquiline. If you look at profile photos of Alyson Hannigan, her nose has quite a down-curve to it rather than a tilt, even though it's a small nose. I do think you've got a great likeness for her. I've always found it's much harder to get a likeness on a smiling face than a serious one, because smiling changes the shape of someone's face quite dramatically. Of all the smiling Willows we've seen from the official sculpts, I think you've captured her best!

Thanks for the feedback everyone Sasha, Yeh i thought so too! I moulded this head and was able to then reshape the clay into a new expression (for Gatekeeper Willow) and i noticed then that her nose was more aquiline. I fixed it now but this mould is already done, so i will try to make it work
