My new Sam Winchester/jarpad sculpture. He stands 13 inches tall; my tallest work yet. I am truly proud of this sculpture because it is my first 1/6 scale statue. He was sculpted out of super sculpey firm, and cast into resin. The molding process is never cheap. The hands were 20% sculpted by me. Video with more pics coming soon! It's amazing to see how my work has grown over the years. You guys have been there for a lot of it.

It's great to see you're progressing with each new piece. Haven't been much activity on the board, but still nice to know people are still working on stuff. I have one charmed one I will be working on soon.
As for this current Sam, he is very clean. Great paint app. I think if you do a black wash it will bring out the sculpting details that seem to be banded by the regular paint color. Take for example the jacket pocket. You can see the sculpting and lining, but it's muddled. Some water and a little black paint and a few strokes can really bring out that definition.

Great to see the progression here. The likenesses of the second and third one are very good. But the "caught in the moment" aspect of the most recent one is spot-on. It really gives energy to the piece. If these are all from scratch sculpts, then they are incredible. Excellent work!
